Kings Wok — Restaurant in Town of Kinderhook

I bought two lunch specials today and it was very very disappointing! My first order was white rice with boneless spareribs. Let me just say, don’t even bother ordering their boneless spareribs. It was a complete waste of my money! The spareribs were so tough and stale! It tasted terrible so the texture was as if they made it and it didn’t sell so it sat there and they refried it. All of it went into the garbage! I couldn’t even chew it! Nasty! The second thing I ordered was fried chicken wings with pork fried rice. Another huge disappointment! The fried rice was tasteless and so was the wings. This is the only Chinese restaurant in this little town so they have no competition but they should be ashamed to serve anyone such terrible food! For the most part their food is good, when they get the order accurate. However their customer service leaves much to be desired. I ordered take out, went in to the resturant and was barely greeted when I got there and in between talking to the cook and answering the phone I was told my total. I got home only to realize the order was wrong. When I went back to pick up the correct order not only did they not apologize but they proceeded to give excuses about how the two orders were similar and charged me for the difference. Absolutely disgusting. I gave this dump multiple chances. I have never had Chinese food that looked and tasted so bad. The meats are old tasting with a strange rubbery consistency. They serve ancient tough spare ribs from only god knows when. Tough and fatty like shoe leather.They seem like they're saved and reheated over and over. You're lucky if you dont get sick after tasting this stuff. Everything tastes rancid and greasy. Terrible, just terrible. It makes me sick to think about it.
