New China Sea — Restaurant in Town of Kirkland

Gave it a shot because it’s close to home, and other Chinese food places in Utica and New Hartford have pretty bad ratings, so I’m like “how can it get worse ?”

Well. Wouldn’t recommend to a friend, or even acquaintance. Very bland chicken dishes, general Tsos had weak flavor, bourbon chicken tasted like it was frozen. Very dry. So we figured “can’t ruin egg rolls” wrong again. Dry and hard egg rolls. The rice was alright. It wasn’t the yellow color most places have, it was like white rice with veggies. WOW! Fantastic meal! I tried the New China Sea restaurant for the first time, approximately 10 minutes ago!! I ordered the "Chicken with Garlic Sauce" combination platter! IT WAS GREAT!! I can tell it was made with fresh vegetables and meat...cooked perfectly!! I'll tell you what folks...I eat a LOT of Chinese food! I LOVE Chinese food! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the "New China Sea" restaurant to anyone who wants quality ingredients, expertly cooked!! GREAT...

Ordered my usual on April 29th 2022. (Hadn't been there in a few months). Discovered that and now cost me about $7 more for my usual order then before. Also noticed that everything that I ordered did not taste good. (There was a lot less flavor, so I know that they are cutting corners with their ingredients). I'm done.. I won't be going anymore. I'll make my meals at home or I can enjoy the flavor and not have to wonder (what are they doing that's different...
