This is one of the absolutely one of the most amazingly awesome-st bars not only in the state, but in the country - it's the oldest continuingly running bar in the county! An old water-hole overlooking on the now-long-gone Chenango Canal and then Railroad and therefore the Erie Canal routes between mines in Pennsylvania and Binghampton, New York and Chicago - it is the warmest dive bar you'll ever see. This is what it used to be like to get drunk in 1895. It was a local grocers store for a time being (think CVS, or gas station).
