Being a huge foodie and trying out all of the food spots in the area, I do have to say that I am super happy that Mario’s took over the other pizza business that was there before. Their ingredients are super fresh and I am in absolute awe in regards to their foccacia crust pizzas. Its similar to a traditional silician slice minus the heavy dense feel. The foccacia crust is a really nice touch that you don’t see often or its not executed as well as Mario’s. Its perfectly crisp on the outside and super light and fluffy on the inside while being sturdy enough to not have all of their delicious toppings collapse making a mess. From the fresh roma tomatoes, basil, and fresh mozzarella, you seriously can taste the difference. Its NOT from a can! Lol Besides scrumptious italian cuisine, the revamp and remodel of the restaurant itself is brighter and more inviting than it was before. It is no longer dark and dank. I really feel that this pizza/trattoria will be here to stay for awhile and I look forward to trying out other menu items on my next visit. In addition, the staff was super friendly and very welcoming. If you’re ever in that indecisive mode of what to get, just ask for recommendations. You won’t be disappointed. The prices are decent and the flavors are worth every penny. This is definitely the place we needed in the area for quality pizza and...
Read moreA few days ago, I called ahead and placed an order for pickup for a large half chicken, half cheese pie. After asking for my name, they tell me on the phone that the wait will be 15-20 minutes, which is perfectly reasonably. When I get there 20 minutes later, I pay for the pizza after giving them my name and order. They say the pizza is still in the oven and isn’t ready yet but should be done in a couple minutes. No problem, so I waited. 10 minutes go by and I’m still waiting. After a total of at least 25 minutes of waiting in the store after I placed the order, I ask what’s taking so long. Turns out, the pizza was already done and had been set to the side before i even walked in the store. I fail to see how someone let me stand around like an idiot for almost half an hour. Even after seeing this, they still attempted to get me to take the cold pizza with me, they didn’t even have the decency or common courtesy to honor their mistake and at least offer to remake it. Instead, I got a refund. There is no excuse for this as they weren’t even busy. Avoid this place unless you like having your time wasted and have people trying to get you to...
Read moreAll I have to say is this place is RIDICULOUS! I had already had dinner and stopped in with my wife to pickup a couple of pieces of pizza for our son. We took one look at the Grandma’s pie and decided to sit down and try it out. We started out thinking we would get a slice and before he knew it we ordered a pie. When they placed that pizza down on the table the smell alone made my mouth water. When I took my first bite I couldn’t believe how good this pizza is. The waitress asked how everything was I replied ridiculous!!!!! Out of an 8 slice pizza we took home 3. We had also ordered 2 Sicilian slices to take home to my son. He ate those and noticed the 3 pieces of Grandma’s. OH NO!!!! After I was done crying at the loss of my mid night snack I asked my son how he liked it. He said it was ridiculous!!! Needless to say we will be back again and...
