Yeung Ho III — Restaurant in Town of La Grange

I'm sad to say that after this being my go to location, I will no longer be coming here after the disrespect I faced today. I ordered a boneless spareribs combo and I realized I was given and charged for a sesame chicken combo after I got home and took 2 bites of the food. I called them up and they told me that it would be a dollar upcharge for picking up the new food. When I got there, they were very condescending and tried making it seem like I was trying to scam them, even when I said I would pay the dollar upcharge. They claimed I ordered a General Tso's chicken over the phone, which definitely isn't true considering I don't like spicy food. There is absolutely no reason for me to drive 10 minutes each way to come back for the wrong order. That would be an absolute waste of time. I just wanted my correct order. After not even offering an apology, they now lost a customer who gave them business multiple times a month over the course of 3 years. If this is how they treat loyal customers who have never had any issues prior to this, I advise everyone to avoid this business...

Tried this place out because of the reviews. Bad mistake. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had and I am somone who usually just leaves positive reviews. The white rice was small grain but standard, cabbage chow mein was salty and and somewhat edible, but the sesame chicken was easily the nastiest I have ever tasted. The sauce was oily and syrupy/drippy with a grainy texture and salty/bizarre and repugnant flavor. It was so disgusting I had to spit it out. Pork fried rice looked like it was days old and and was equally gross tasting. The egg rolls was also fried to a crisp and the pork ribs smelled like wet dog and were drenched in grease. Wasn’t really in the mood to cook. Drove past the plaza and saw the sign and tried this place out. Been coming back quite a few times. The prices are good and the food is good. The people behind the counter are always nice too.

Only gave a mediocre atmosphere review because it’s a pick up place. Not set up for dining. Let me warn anyone ordering, this is a very busy place, so make sure you have a menu and know what you want ahead of time. Whenever I place my order, I see over 20 orders picked up in the 10 to 15 minutes that I’m waiting. The volume this location is pumping...
