Ready Coffee — Restaurant in Town of La Grange

I’m going to start by saying how I do love ready coffee and I’ve been a consistent good customer for years but I’m not sure how much anymore. BEWARE you’re paying for mostly ice and not coffee!!! I learned this truth yesterday and I’m so incredibly disappointed. They don’t fill the cups up with coffee but instead I’ve now learned all this time and how much money I’ve spent in this establishment I’ve been ripped off for just ice…. I ordered 2 LARGE coffees with no ice because 1- it was sweltering and I didn’t want it watering down the coffee but 2- bc I wanted to bring it home so I could have an iced coffee treat for morning. Well- that didn’t happen. I paid $18 with a tip for half filled cups of coffee. SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT READY COFFEE!!!! come on! Why are you ripping us all off???? It’s very rare someone would order without ice and the occasion they do- you only give them half a cup?? Not cool. Horrible for business. This morning when I went to have my “iced coffee treat” I BARELY put a handful of ice in my coffee (bc I don’t like it watered down!) and it didn’t even fill my slim modern cup. Look- ok I get it if you don’t want to fill the cup to the brim without ice BUTTTTTTTT can you at least fill it 3/4????? I see someone else also mentioned this recently with zero response from the owner. It appears they only respond to the good reviews which is also bad for business ready coffee!!!! I’m looking for an explanation as to why you’re ripping people off paying for basically ice. So please respond to my review bc I’ve been a customer for years and this makes me never want to come...

In my time living in Dutchess County I’ve always praised Ready Coffee for their coffee, the flavor and the price have always been exceptional. The staff is typically very friendly and ask about your day. It’s been my go to since and I’ve chosen it over other coffee chains to support a local business.

However since the opening the Lagrange location and more recently in the last few months I’ve noticed a decline in the overall flavor of the coffee. Just this week I ordered an iced caramel blondie and a frozen coffee and they both had a distinct bitter and burnt taste that left a bad taste in my mouth. This burnt flavor has happened on and off for the last few months. I’ve noticed it at the Wappingers location as well which usually was my go to because this only really happened at the Lagrange location.

Also at my last visit, I went early in the morning and was greeted by a woman who looked more interested in returning back to her conversation with her coworker and seemed bothered that I showed up. So that coupled with the flavor of the coffee just soured my...

We gathered here for a friend’s retirement well wishes. The establishment was just perfect for both an indoor gathering that we later moved outside. Fresh, clean, night & airy with plenty of table seating off the main entrance. There’s even a fireplace in this area (which was not on as it was 80* degrees out) . The outdoor patio easily accommodated a party of 15-20 adults (there’s even a ramp which makes it very accessible by walker or w/c). The staff were fantastic, cheery & friendly making a variety of coffee drinks, milk shakes & there’s even a kids menu for drinks. I didn’t realize that there was also regular coffee drinks as te menu only shows the specialty drinks offered here. I’ve never seen an espresso machine so large. And yes they have decaf. cappuccino! I liked the protein energy bars made from dates & nuts (no idea what type of nuts was used but blended perfectly with the vegan chocolate chips!). There’s even a drive through here. What more can one ask for. All in all, a fantastic...
