If you're craving an authentic taste of the Dominican Republic, Tito’s Kitchen delivers a culinary experience that’s rich in flavor and full of heart.
From the moment I walked in, the aroma of seasoned meats, plantains, and warm spices made me feel like I was stepping into someone’s home kitchen in Santo Domingo. The décor was cozy and colorful, with island-inspired touches and soft bachata music playing in the background—inviting, but never overdone.
I started with tostones, which were crispy, golden, and perfectly salted. Paired with an amazing pink sauce , they were the ideal appetizer to kick things off. For my main dish, I went with the pollo guisado (stewed chicken), served with arroz blanco, habichuelas guisadas, and a side ensalada verde.
To drink, I had a chilled morir soñando, the iconic Dominican blend of passion fruit juice and milk. It was smooth, sweet, and wonderfully refreshing—like dessert in a glass.
The staff at Tito’s Kitchen were warm and attentive, offering great recommendations and treating everyone like family. Prices were fair, portions were generous, and the flavors were unforgettable.
Whether you’re Dominican and missing home-cooked meals or simply looking to explore Caribbean cuisine, Tito’s Kitchen is a must-visit. I’m already planning my next trip back to try their mangú and pernil!

Read moreI was here on Sunday 8/10/25 it was close to closing time. I sat outside waiting for my order to go. The host brought my bag out and i got so distracted i walked away leaving my sunglasses on the table. They are closed on Mondays so i had to wait til Tuesday to call them to see if anyone had seen my sunglasses. I was so busy at work on Tuesday i didnt have a chance to call them until Wednesday. The anxiety i felt for the 2 days was so bad those glasses were a gift. It was a pair of Rayban META glasses i figured my glasses were a loss because anyone would have walked away with them for keeps. Well the host answered my call on Wednesday so many days later and when i asked about my glasses she sounded so relieved that i called to claim them. I could feel how genuine and honest she was from her voice. I am so grateful for her putting them away for me. Now for the food, 10/10 not just because of the glasses but honestly because now i dont have to drive to Dyckman in NYC to get a Yaroa!!! Price was great for the amount of food. I wish them many blessings and...
