Worst restaurant experience on New Year's Eve! Our party did not get seated until an hour after our reservation, however we patiently waited buying drinks at the bar. When finally seated, we ordered more drinks and our food right away. Waiting for our food, we just kept hearing the excuse that it is New Year's and they are busy and implied that we should expect this. When we asked about our food, our server kept saying that she will check on it, while looking puzzled as if we were asking an odd question. After waiting for about an hour and a half, with no indication of when, or if , our food was coming, the manager came to tell us that they are busy, etc and seemed to indicate to us that we should just wait longer, as they are trying the best they can. When we tried to discuss our displeasure for our long wait, she accused us of yelling at her. We eventually told her that we would just like our checks for our drinks because we have another place to be and we waited so long. The manager came back with, "I will be giving your food to the homeless shelter, where it will be appreciated". Mind you, after all this waiting, we still did not receive an answer if/when our food was coming. The manager unprofessionally walked away. We proceeded to leave our table and get our checks for our drinks and we all paid them, in disgust. Then, as we were leaving, the manager comes to the parking lot and knocks on one of our car's door, accusing one of us of not paying our bill. The bill was paid in full on the bar, which they eventually discovered. All this left us with a truly bad experience and we will definitely not make our way back to this...
Read moreJust had dinner here, had a pizza, pretzel, French onion, and steak sandwich. Delicious food, especially the banana pepper pizza. Our waitress was lovely and had no problems with that.
Unfortunately, this place gets 1 star for their rudeness. It’s a big weekend with the Fourth of July Lancaster parade and fireworks, so we decided to do dinner nearby and walk to the town. We get to the restaurant, no signs saying customer parking only (not that it mattered since we did sit and eat a full meal), then after paying we started walking out of the parking lot. About a block down the street, a worker chased after us and rudely yells “you guys can’t park here, customers only, we are having our own party and we need our lot spaces”. Immediately we turn around, apologize profusely, and walk right back to the lot. In the lot, there is now an older man standing by the other worker who yelled at us, who I am assuming is an owner, and he was angrily staring us down and the other worker had to hold him back from us it seemed. He kept following us to our car staring me down so hard I was scared. My boyfriend asked if he needed anything and he angrily yells back “do you need anything?!?!?” getting in my boyfriends face. We turn back around, and say for the record we just had dinner here and would never park at an establishment without supporting them. He looked at us speechless it seemed, and we got in the car and left.
If they let customers know their parking policy, or had a sign, or even just were a bit nicer about the situation, we would have had no problem. We will never return to such a rude...

99 Brick Oven is our favorite restaurant and we probably get takeout or go there 2-3 times a month. Tonight for the FIRST time we had an issue with our food. I texted the owner not to be that customer to just complain, but wanted to let them know so they keep an extra eye on future orders and because we appreciate their awesome business, they are local and the customer service and food is always top notch. She was SOOO appreciative that we contacted her and kept asking how they can show their appreciation. She sent someone from the restaurant to drop off a $25 gift card 15 minutes after I talked to her. And said "a business should want that feedback. We appreciate you!" I never doubted they would acknowledge the issue with our order. I just wanted a "thank you for telling us!" I can't wait until they can open back up and we can sit down and relax with some drinks on their patio. If you ever get the chance please support them. They are doing curbside pickup and FREE delivery if you live close enough! Right now they have a dinner for 4 special with salad, garlic bread, pasta and cannolis for only $50. PLEASE SUPPORT 99 BRICK OVEN. They are the true meaning of a GREAT business that deserves to be around. Some of our favorite things are the wings, brick oven pizza and fish. They also have...
