Day 18: More below 👇👇👇 Lancaster keeps leveling up with new spots, and it’s quickly becoming one of our favorite towns to hang. But when it comes to wings, there’s really only one place in the village that has them: @skoobsvillagegrille Their Carolina Gold (aka “Andreessen” Gold) sauce? Wild. Worth the trip on its own. Hot wings were right there too, crispy, juicy, perfect heat. If you’re anywhere near Lancaster… you know where to stop. Clip in the video was from the @Eric Wood podcast! One of my favorite dudes who loves and promotes wings. Follow along for more. We have over 120+ places in Buffalo that claim they have good wings, and I’m not stopping until I go to all of them. #chickenwings #buffalony #buffaloeats #buffalowings #foodreview @G Dub Does Grub

The staff was very friendly, it was just confusing as to why our table was forgotten about. It wasn't packed, so that's not the excuse, there was so much staff, they were chatting in front of the fountain machine for at least 10 minutes while I waited for my drink after everyone else at my table got theirs. 🤷🏻‍♀️My espresso martini took so long to get, they comped it. We ordered a bowl of chowder, pretzel sticks and stuffed peppers to start. Then 2 fish frys, 1 fish hoagie and 1 veggie burger as entrees. The chowder came out right away but the pretzels came out 20 minutes later and then peppers came out about 15 minutes after that, which was AFTER we got our entrees, which completely defeated the purpose of appetizers. The peppers took so long, that we thought they forgot about them, which they probably did and then just sent them when they were done, when we didn't have them anymore. However, the table that sat in front of us, who had a different wait staff, got their drinks right away and their pretzels within 5 minutes of sitting. Their food was so fast, they were paying for their bill as we were getting served our entrees, which was also fish frys. Same thing with the table next to us. They sat and within minutes they received their drinks and pretzels and then minutes later, their entrees. It was very weird. Again, the staff was very kind and friendly, these are just things that my whole table noticed. The food was delicious. The pretzels were very soft and chewy and the cheese that came with it was perfect. The peppers were nice and cheesy and the garlic bread was crunchy on the outside, but chewy in the middle--perfect. Everyone loved their fish fry too. The sandwich was great and the sides that came with the fish were very good. Obviously giant portions, which could mean not as good, but the boys ate these fish up! The veggie burger was very good too. Cooked perfectly and the aoli on it was nice and spicy! We would 💯% go back, we would just come a little bit more hungry, haha.

We (my gf & I) come here very often, at least once a week & often bring our kids along too. The food is always amazing/ damn near perfect & so is the service. We often compliment our waiter or waitress & tell them how awesome their service is, you can ask them. Stephanie is awesome. If it’s slower, she’ll sit for a min & chat w/ us which we enjoy. Mandy is also awesome & one of our favorites! I personally like Colin best, very good server & always there to refill drinks & bring extra napkins, etc. He can take an order for a party of 5 without writing any of it down & not make a single mistake. On the other hand, Ellie is our least favorite & we dread getting her as our waitress. We’ve even brought company & without us saying a word they’ve commented on her poor service. She also never writes anything down & then makes several mistakes. I ordered 6 tacos w/ no sour cream & they came out w/ sour cream & I said I definitely didn’t order sour cream. No apology or anything just walked away w/ the food & later returned w/ 6 more w/ no sour cream. No, I’m sorry for the error/ delay or anything. Then the bill comes & the sour cream is on the bill for $4.50 which is 75¢/each. Not being a cheapskate but I’m not paying for something I didn’t get strictly out of principle. I questioned it & she was snippy & rude & says you’ll notice I took of the $4.50 at the bottom. I said no u took off 4.5% which is $1.20. She seemed even more annoyed & brought back the bill & it was finally correct. I’m definitely NOT that guy that likes to complain, bit#h & moan but not once was there any apology on any of the errors & she definitely lacks personality. Would it hurt to smile & be nice? I eat out often & again I love your food, several of your staff & love supporting a local family owned business that gives back to the community but I dread going there when I get her as my waitress cuz I don’t wanna be rude & refuse her but I’m very...

Let me start by saying I’ve been going to skoobs practically every other Wednesday for the past two years but after our last visit we will NOT be back. We are used to the long wait times and subpar service but this past visit really put the final nail in the coffin for us. We had 630 reservations for a party of 3, we were sat promptly which was fine however literally while she was seating us the hostess and waitress were discussing how much being the hostess “sucks”. After we sat no one came back to our table until 7:10!! My fiancé had to go up to the bar to ask what was going on (as he was doing this the waitress who saw us sit at 630 and ignored us angrily came over) she finally took our food and drinks order (2 cocktails, 30 wings, a sub and side of fries and 3 blue cheese on the side) at 7:40 a plate of cold bbq wings were dropped at our table by a different server, 5 min after this our waitress came back, we politely mentioned the wings were cold, she said “these weren’t meant for you anyway” and removed they from the table. At 8pm, so an hour and a half after sitting we got our food with no blue cheese. We asked for 3 sides, she came back with one. The wings weren’t crispy even though we had specified we wanted extra crispy, the sub was the only thing that came out good, fries were cold. She then split the bill for us but messed up who ordered what and stated she was unable to fix it since she had already entered it in the system and she had charged us for all 3 blue cheeses. Ps the cocktails came out with the ice half melted, I ordered an orange crush and by the time it was dropped off it was a tan color and disgusting. My friend ordered a Loganberry lemonade (I didn’t try it personally) but she stated it was watered down and she could not taste the alcohol. The table next us to us had an equally disappointing visit minus being forgotten about for the first hour. Do...
