From the time we arrived in the parking lot, we were greeted by snotty little blondes running around bickering and acting like they were super busy, yet there was less than 5 people in the restaurant. ATTITUDE OVERLOAD. Even thier facial expressions were obnoxious. We opted to just have a beer, as we were traveling from Letchworth and when we stated such at the hostess station we were immediately asked "so you don't even want to look at the menu"? Uhhh, not when you respond to me like that, I sure DON'T. We were then told to sit down and someone would be with us. We sat outside and the server came out within a few minutes and said "What do you guys want to drink"? ... Well, a menu of our options would be a nice place to start, but clearly you weren't thinking about that when you were disrespectful and CLEARLY uninterested in promoting sales for this establishment. We ordered two $4 beers and immediately looked up another place to take our money because you arrogant little high school girls don't deserve it. If this is a sign of the type of ownership this eatery is run by, it's a clear indication of what's wrong with the world. Also, if you are in the service industry, your goal is to make tips ... your bitchy attitude surely isn't helping you in that department. Thanks for the beers, we will...
Read more2.5 stars since service was great and food is not their fault. I was so excited to try this place since barbecue is one my favorite types of food. The brisket and the onion rings were the best items we tried. Hush puppies were okay in texture though the sauce doesn’t amplify their flavors at all. I do understand keeping items plain and allowing people to season and sauce to taste, however the pulled pork especially and everything we tried was barely smokey. I expected a lot more from the real pit bbq advertisement. Brisket had a nice texture and a bit more smokey flavor, salt potatoes were the right texture as well. Mac n cheese, sides, meats, and sandwiches were far too bland for us, even with the sauces provided at table. I would recommend bringing your own sauce if you go this route. They did have vegetarian options for folks. Atmosphere was okay, note that if you don’t dig country music, sit further from the speaker corners. I would recommend taking the time to head north to route 96 bbq which is consistently stand out and...
Read moreWe have passed this place for a couple years now while passing through to go to Vitale Park. We tried it for the first time tonight. The place always looks so busy, so I had high hopes! When I got there to pick up the order the service was terrible and were pretty rude. Was disappointed because I was charged more when I went to pay than I expected because the online menu price didn’t match the menu price in the restaurant. Took the food home and I was pretty disappointed. The Mac n cheese was way over cooked, bbq sauce was so sweet like it was just pure sugar, and the meat just seemed like it had been reheated a few times. Was also a little disappointed the meat had no smoked flavor. The meat seemed like something I would just cook in my oven and for $50 I would expect it to be so much better. I will say it was a lot of food, unfortunately we threw majority of it our because we just couldn’t eat it. Overall just not a good experience. There are lots of 5 star reviews on here, so maybe it was just an off night? But just not a good...
