150 miles from home, looking for a place to dine, and google leads us to Trappers II. All I can say is, "Thank God". This Pizza & Pub was welcoming as soon as we walked in the front door. Order/Pay at the counter and food brought to the table. The cashier in the menu picture was an absolute angel. She helped us with getting just the food we were looking for. A party of four, we enjoyed a plate of garlic knots that were toasty brown on the outside, yet soft and steamy on the inside, and absolutely de-lic-ious! A to go lunch salad was just right for the four of us to split as a side salad to our large pizza order. A slightly thin crust, great zesty pizza sauce, tantalizing spicy pepperoni, and half with onions, sweet peppers, black olives, and mushrooms. The slices were large NY style triangles and actually added to the fun of the meal. If we didn't live so far away, we would gladly return on a regular basis. I might add also, kiddie corner from the restaurant is the awesome Green Pedestrian Bridge over the CSX Railroad. Very interesting and...
Read morethe food is only good sometimes, every sense they got a new manager the food has went downhill. The food takes around 35 minutes even when it isnt busy, the staff take awhile to actually get to the register to take your order, the prices are also getting a bit pricey for the food usually being cold when you get it, on facebook i saw that 2 kids got kicked out for a “fart bomb” whatever that is but its a harmless little thing and if they hit someone in the head im going to guess it was an accident but im gonna assume it didnt hit anyone in the head. I looked up what it was and it was a foil little thing that definitely wouldn’t hurt even if it did hit you, i understand if it was something hard and it was thrown at someone on purpose but it wasn’t, the police are far too far for quite a little thing and the person that wrote the review definitely had a point by saying “ur gonna call the cops for fart bombs when someone could be injured and ur wasting the cops time” thats just my opinion if you dont agree...
Read moreI went in on a football Sunday. They had the same game on 3 tvs. Because one guy wanted the game on the tv in front of him. It was also playing on 3 other tvs. There was 4 of us that wanted it on a tv closer, but nope. We were told by the bar tender that it's first come first serve. We were willing to pay extra to have it on the tv near us. 2 of us had trouble seeing from that far away. But because one guy, drinking water, overrode 4 guys spending close to $100.00, they have lost my business. In a time were businesses are drooling over the same customer base, you would think that a freakin football game on 3 tvs, overrule a single game for people that have visual disabily. I'm very disappointed with the "Oh well" attitude. One would think that with 18 tvs in the place the same game shouldn't be in 3 tvs. But the one game mutliple people wanted to watch couldn't be put on the tv in front of a person with disabilities. I wont...
