Been living in NY my whole life and have always been stuck with runnings, or going an hour away for bass pro. While runnings is great, you don’t get the same experience. Amazing selection of firearms, multiple “employees” to help you out so you don’t have to wait crazy times for the one worker, honestly expected the prices to be high to compensate being a smaller business in this day and age, but they were more than fair. Grabbed a vintage Remington speedster for cheaper than I’ve ever seen before, as well as multiple other deals. They know what they were talking about, and the 2 goldens there seemed to know more than bass pro gun counter employees. Seemed to be the best place I’ve found so far for military surplus/vintage. Felt uncomfortable coming in, as many smaller gun stores are run by people who price gouge, have no good items, or watch you like a hawk and make it known that you are annoying them. Left feeling comfortable after talking with the employees and feeling a sense of a buddys store that I’ve been to my whole life. Will definitely be coming back. Loved...
Read moreMy father bought a gun in November of 2023, took it home and it wouldn't cycle, took it back the very next day and they took it and said they would look at it and fix it. They were getting ready to move to the current location from their previous spot on Lodi in Syracuse, so we understood when we didn't hear anything 3 months later. Then we went to visit the new shop in February and everything looks good. Ask about the gun and supposedly the guy is out sick with covid, ok fine wait more than another MONTH after being told the guy was sick. Come back still nothing done with the gun. My father after another 2 MONTHS goes in to just pick it up and they tell him it's at the old spot on Lodi and they haven't even brought it over. The guy told him he would personally go over and get it. That was more than a week ago...... And still nothing, not a phone call not a email. Nothing. Absolutely would not recommend going here for anything. Tried to work with them on so much and was left extremely wanting. Go to Tim's or MD arms or EKC on the rez. You'll...
Read moreI dropped my pistol off because the magazines would get stuck in the mag well... A week went by and I called to see if the gunsmith had looked at it..he said he was looking at it then and told me they'll give me a call when it was done ... I called every week for a month to see how it was going. Every time I called I never got the gunsmith just a woman telling me he's still working on it. Finally called after a month and said I'll pick it up whether it was done or not and was told it's about a week out from being done. I said ok .. I'll give him one more week. Just picked it up after a week. It's not any better even though they told me it was a lot better and my gun was covered in oil. I was charged $91 for work on magazines that cost me $50 for 2. Paid them for their time. But I would not reccomend this gunshop for repairs due to lack of communication and...
