What a special place—so considered in every detail, and dynamic, too—shaped in response to those who come to enjoy it. When we entered, I had just finished a long hike with my friend and didn’t have any particular expectations. But what I noticed right away was the style: a drum kit, sculptural pieces that felt both playful and Lynchian, the Bob Ross figure tucked into a shopping cart amidst thousands of records, the gorgeously painted golden ceilings, and the preserved structural facade of the walls—it was a visual feast even before we sat down.
And then, the meal—wow. I had to stop talking with my friend; it deserved my full attention. The beet salad, the flatbread, the mushroom pasta. That pasta brought a small tear to my eye—it was so deeply comforting. You could tell someone cared when they made it, and that kind of care is increasingly rare. It’s something worth celebrating.
And then, meeting Joe—the owner and originator of that care, who is clearly enjoying this adventure in community-building in such an authentic way. Come for a great meal, and stay to catch a bit of the inspiration and vitality that radiate from...
Read more10s ACROSS THE BOARD! Our Airbnb host recommended this as a cool new spot to check out, and we’re so glad we took her suggestion! The decor and ambience were what you’d expect from a cool spot in Brooklyn or NYC, but the staff and other local patrons were incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming. Lissa, the bartender was so engaging and provided great conversation without being intrusive. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and upon hearing this, the two people seated next to us at the bar sneakily paid for our drinks! The FOOD was AMAZING! We had the meatballs, the Harvest salad and the arugula and prosciutto flatbread. Delicious! Every local that found out we were celebrating a special occasion congratulated us and the owner gave us 2 glasses of champagne on the house. As new people would walk in, everyone would greet them and shout out their name and get up from their stools for a hug… it was like if Cheers got a 2023 reboot. By the time we left we hadn’t paid for one drink, and felt like one of the regulars. If you’re in the area… do yourself a favor and drop in. You...

The owner was so warm and welcoming and we had in common that they’re both from queens! You feel like NYC energy as you walk in the door, but cozier.
The honeybear cocktail is everything you could ever dream of, plus it’s in a bear mug. We also shared the charcuterie board, the mushroom flatbread and the harvest salad. Highly recommend all three!
Our server Kendra was vigilant and made us feel so comfortable.
We even ordered the brownie to go, because why not? Please do yourself a favor and support this business so they can stay here for many years to come.
Thank you all for...
