McDonald's — Restaurant in Town of Mount Morris

Edit May 2025: I am having the worst week of my life and have been searching for the squishmellow kitty happy toy as my survival mechanism. I stopped here and asked the employees if they could look for the kitty mellow and the entire team jumped in to help. And it wasn't halfhearted, everyone was searching for me like crazy and even checked the back stock. You can't see through the bags so you have to find the right color not an easy task at all. They asked me about collecting and I could tell they genuinely cared and wanted to help me out. * To all the employees working at about 1:15 on 5/22/25, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and for going above and beyond helping me find the kitty*

A great McDonald's to stop at if you're in need of a quick meal. The staff is friendly, accommodating and go out of their way to make sure your order is accurate. The drive thru can get busy, but the staff is efficient and keeps the line moving in spite of this. Food is your standard McDonald's meals. They have the new adult happy meals which we tried out and enjoyed. I recommend this location over others in the area as I've found they are the most exacting when preparing your meal - no mix ups or forgotten items. The interior of the restaurant is kept clean and comfortable, nice if you want to eat in and relax a bit. Placed our main meal order at 9pm then we placed 2 mobile orders to pick up in store as we ate our food. At 10:15pm we were finishing up our meal and an employee came over and said we HAD to leave the store because they were closed. He said that he was nice to allow us to stay after 10pm (which is when the dining room closed) at all. He also kicked out another older gentleman who was also finishing up his meal.

The employee stood there in front of us until we physically got up from the table, there was no you need to finish up than leave but rather you need to leave NOW! The employee was upset when I said I would report this to the survey at the bottom of the receipt. The older man said he was calling corporate as well.

The three of us were physically kicked out of the dining room. I didn't even feel like I could hit the restroom before I left as the employee stood watch over all three of us as we exited the building.

I cannot believe that this is how an employee is supposed to be. I could see if the entire placed closed at 10pm but the drive thru was still open for hours after that. The reasoning given was there was a cleaner crew arriving and they needed to start cleaning. The cleaning crew was the cashier who...

This store has no sense of customer service. They opened 16 minute late, then I waited for service and it took me yelling in the back. The worker that took care of the first customer, when finished with them looked at there clip board ( and walked away. I waited an additional 18 minutes . When I advised the manager on duty she said sorry were behind today. I would like to know how a corporation as big as McDonald's has no problem charging $7.74 for a sandwich and 2 hash browns and yet make it apparent that the line on the clipboard is correct that the trash bins outside have been emptied. That there manager complaining about that customer when they are still at the counter. Now to add to this disappointing and unprofessional experience the sandwich was made incorrectly the cheese was off center and it only contained 2 pieces of bacon ( per McDonald's Manuel it should have 4). How can a employee claim to be behind when per the photo they were claiming to check products at 5:08am.We the consumer are expected to pay outrageous prices, and over paid wages for poor quality and far from up to par customer service.
