Zeppo's Creekside Creamery — Restaurant in Town of Mount Morris

We were just passing through the town and my daughter saw the shop and asked for an ice-cream... So we turned around and came here.... And I am so glad we did.

We got the orange ice-cream. It was one of the most delightful ice-creams I have ever had.... it was fresh, thick, creamy and generous to an extent that we couldn't finish 2 ice-cream between 2 adults and 2 kids.

I didn't even register the name of the shop and here I am lying in bed and googling ice-cream shops in Mt Morris to figure out which 1 I chanced upon today. I live in Canada and I actually resolved to drive down 3 hours once in a while to this beautiful little shop every once in a while to treat myself to their generous scoop.

Went there the other day while I was in town, and I have to say that the experience was not great. Firstly, the young girl was clearly not thrilled to be working there. If you're going to be dealing with customers, you kind of have to be okay with... dealing with customers. Perhaps the owners ought to hire someone with better people skills. Secondly, for one small soft-serve and a two-scoop cone, the total was almost $15.

No one could ever convince me that the amount of ice cream we received combined with the less-than-enthusiastic employee interaction we had was worth $15, even if the ice cream was home-made.

Stopped by with some family and friends to see what all the hype was about; and they exceeded my expectations! This is the best ice cream I have ever had. Every flavor was amazing and quickly became my new favorite. The lemon ginger, maple walnut, white chocolate macadamia, Cookie Monster, and cherry chip have all tied for first place! This place has ruined all other ice cream shops for me! Even my puppy loved his puppy sundae!
