Horrible customer service by the two ladies at the cash register today. Very dissatisfied. Placed an order at 11:45, simple order a cup of soup and a breakfast special. Went to pick it up 12:10 and it wasn’t ready - they asked if they could warm up the soup, I said yes, not a problem… I asked to pay and was told I couldn’t pay ahead of time even though the breakfast special had been sitting there. Came back two times to pick up the order to find another customer paying ahead of time so I of course questioned it and was met with a very rude response from the lady at the cash register. I asked her why I couldn’t pay ahead like this customer did and was told it changes every day? Not sure what that meant, didn’t make any sense to me so at that point I just remained quiet. when I left, she yelled out in front of everyone, you know you’re welcome . She was completely rude, I placed an order and waited 45 minutes for it, I was told I couldn’t pay ahead the second time I went to pick it up and even though they were allowing other customers to pay ahead, the breakfast specials was sitting there for a half an hour and is now dry. Never experienced this issue when the other lady was working the front. seem to be very rude and disorganized and don’t appreciate the business. Read moreThis deli was great under Jim's ownership. Fast service and personable staff. Once they took on new ownership, all that went out the window. While they considerably updated their menu and renovated, I was appalled by their customer service.
As someone of whom is lactose intolerant, I need to be attentive to consumption of dairy. Repeatedly when ordering a bacon & egg sandwich - NO CHEESE, they still put cheese in it, to where I've had to return it and have them remake the sandwich.
The last time I ordered, "bacon & egg, no cheese; no cheese on anything, please," the server then repeated the order of the next patron, "bacon, egg, & cheese." Considering I had just made a similar order and his poor track record, I was under the assumption he was incorrectly repeating my order.
"No. No cheese, please." I shouted over the customers.
"I wasn't talking to you. Relax! That's not your order!"
My jaw dropped. His tone was totally inappropriate. You don't yell at your customer to relax. As someone with food sensitivities, I have to be on top of what I eat. I was under the impression that this business would accommodate food allergies. Apparently they only just barely tolerate it.

Read moreThe food was really good, but the service during lunchtime was disappointing. I walked in and stood at the hot food station, where I assumed I was supposed to order. Two employees looked directly at me but said nothing and continued doing their own thing. I waited there for about 7 minutes without being acknowledged.
I moved slightly down the counter, thinking maybe I was in the wrong spot. Then someone who walked in after me was greeted immediately and helped right away. That when I said I’ve been here waiting for someone to take my order. I told him I had already been waiting 10 minutes, and he just said, “The line starts over here”—which is exactly where I had been standing the whole time. One of the ladies that was working there right away, realized it and took my order. She was really nice. It’s a big guy ( clown) with a cross on his neck. seemed especially uninterested in helping me. If you don’t like your job, maybe it’s time to reconsider working in customer service.
