Rice & Spice Grill — Restaurant in Town of Mount Pleasant

Pretty standard halal. Nothing special.

I ordered a large chicken and lamb combo. Wasn’t impressed. The size of food didn’t feel “large” felt standard. Both the chicken and lamb portions were small and the actual pieces were small, too.

I asked for it “to stay” and they still gave me a takeout tray.

The prices aren’t great either.

I payed $18.49 for a “large” chicken and rice and a canned soda.

They need to do better. I wish they had larger more “bite-full” ingredients but they don’t.

I will say, the ingredients were indeed fresh.

Kind of feels like a food truck without...

I ordered chicken wings and they came out raw. Instead of fixing the problem right away, they told me to bring the food back the next day for a replacement. I work until 6:30 PM — meaning I’d have to keep unsafe food in my car all day — which doesn’t make sense. When I tried to explain, the employee argued with me, insisting the chicken wasn’t raw, and became aggressive. I wasn’t asking for a refund, just letting them know, but the attitude and handling of the situation were unacceptable. I won’t be coming back.

So glad to haopen across Rice and Spice today.

Have to start with the wings. You never see full sized wings anywhere. The Candle light Inn has competition. These were/excellent.

Loved the Lamb over Rice. It was fantastic and plenty. Made me feel less guilty about the wing fest.

Guilty pleasure I had the cheese Fries (I just came off a fast and my eyes were bigger than my stomach). Great too. Fast wiped out :-)
