Pizza Station — Restaurant in Town of New Castle

I honestly don’t know how this place is still in business. Probably due to their proximity to the train station and schools. I’m not sure I know a local community pizza place that cares less about their community and their customers. The staff is constantly rude both in person and on the phone. They can’t even be bothered to respond to your face. They always advise the wrong times or say they didn’t receive orders confirmed well in advance. If they mess up, they offer no remorse. At some point this place will lose all its customers and close and it’ll be their own faults. I can’t tell you how many other locals feel the same way. Avoid if you can. Called in an order for a Chicken Melanaise dinner- which I confirmed (I thought) on the phone was grilled chicken with arugula- turned out to be two dried out pieces of breaded chicken that looked more like shoe inserts than dinner. Misunderstandings happen, so I called Pizza Station to ask if I could exchange for grilled chicken. Unfortunately I could barely get a word in, as the guy who answered had also taken the order. He kept repeating that what I ordered was breaded chicken, and kept talking over me. When I tried to explain that wasn’t what I intended, he kept repeating “but that’s what you ordered.” So much for customer is always right, or trying to find a solution. Not at Pizza Station....

I have had pizza in over 100 places between ny ct ma and FL not to mention northern and southern Italy and MUST tell you all that this is the most delicious ever. You can't even call it pizza because it's an experience and a meal. The flavors are incredible. The crust is airy light and crisp. The sauce is fresh and made with quality ingredients. All the toppings are fresh flavor packed and eclectic. The staff is super personable. The owner is friendly humble and honest. A true artisan.
