Asked for a “very well done” pizza and this was the result. The dough is almost slimy and barely cooked. This is very disappointing. Obviously nobody checked the pie for doneness let alone being well done. Portnoy would rate this a 2.6 Leos used to be amazing but has gone down hill with their quality and over the top prices. Im at home cooking my pizza and wondering where the $50 went for a cup of soup, a plain pizza, some garlic knots and an appetizer. Sorry leos. Time to move on. Even after cooking the hell out of it when i got home the dough refuses to cook. Tastes very old. Not sure what the issue is with this pizza.

Just left the Newburgh location. The food was great, service was good.. the bill contained a$2charge for a glass of tap water.. I am removing my Leo’s loyalty card from my wallet. Will not be going there anymore.. never heard of charging for tap water..I just read the response from my review.. unfortunately we pay in cash and did not save the check.. But it said Leos water$2..

Leo’s usually is great. Great food and great service but today idk what it was but it was off. On top of getting the order wrong the pizza just seemed like it was rushed. The pizza was a little soggy like it wasn’t quite finished. Franks pizza would NEVER!!!!!

I wouldn’t normally write a negative review, but what happened to my wife and I yesterday was inexcusable. I would say that for the most part Leo’s in Newburgh has been a great place to get pizza, arguably the best in town, and such, and we’ve always had pretty darn good foods and service while dining in. That said, yesterday was the extreme example why I will never patronize this establishment again.

Once before, many years ago we ordered delivery for a pie that we were told was to be delivered at a certain time, and the pie was delivered over an hour and a half late. We never accepted delivery because we left our home and decided to go out to eat. I guess the kitchen was slammed that evening, but we’ll never know for sure. But I digress.

Anyway, yesterday was Mother’s Day, and my wife and I decided to go out to eat and decided on going to Leo’s because ever since that pie incident the establishment from service to food was way above par. So anyway, it was between 2-2:30pm when we decided to call Leo’s to find out if they took reservations. And to our surprise, they did take reservations, so we made the reservation for a party of 2 for 6:30pm.

Now, the establishment probably has at most 8 tables in the dining area, but being that it was Mother’s Day, when we arrived, I noticed that there were only 2 waitresses/servers that were doing double duty behind the take out counter and taking phone orders. But be that as it may, my wife and I arrived about 10 minutes prior to our reservation, and to our chagrin, we also saw that all the tables in the dining area were occupied. At the reservation time of 6:30pm, all the tables were still occupied, so my wife and I decided at 6:35pm to ask one of the waitresses if our reservation would be honored, and we were told that it would be a few minutes more. Well, for me and my wife, that is no way to treat a customer who made a reservation.

For an establishment with as few of tables as that they do, I understand the need to keep the seats filled to be able to make money, but what’s the point of taking reservations when you don’t hold a table open at least a half hour prior to said reservations. As one can see into the dining room, there were several tables that were most likely seated after 6pm. And as most people like to take their time dining, I’d say usually between 1-1.5 hrs, we clearly should have had a table ready for us.

So with that and with my strict eating times, can’t eat much after 7:30pm due to health issues which is why we made the reservation for 6:30pm, so I don’t have an issue, my wife and I decided to go elsewhere, so we left. I admit the restaurant doesn’t know about my health, but we feel that we were poorly treated.

In closing, I must say that after that treatment, I will no longer be patronizing this establishment. My wife and I, on occasion, have ordered many pies for our local police dept., but that activity has also now ended from this...

I had ordered 2 specialty pizzas which cost quite a bit of money, when I went to pick them up after a long day of work and bring them home which was 20min away we saw they were black on the bottom. I called them just to let them know that I was not happy that the pies were burnt and asked her if when the guy takes them out of the oven if he looks at the bottom of the of the pies. The girl was very kind and she told me that she would accommodate me by adding my name to the book and Compensate us with the same kind of pizzas any day that we chose. Approximately 2 weeks went by and I called to let them know that I would like to order those 2 pies. The girl who picked up the phone Was questioning me about my name being in a book for owing me those 2 pies. She said this lady says we owe her 2 pies??? The girl she spoke to said yes look in the book The girl then proceeded to tell me that I already picked up those pies Of course I had not picked up those pies she said my name was crossed off in the book which meant I picked them up I explained to her that I did not pick up the pies I would not call for the pies had I picked them up already. Her overall attitude was the worst part. Very disappointed in this experience. I called back for the owner. She said they weren't there. I asked to leave my name and number if he could return my call. I never heard from anyone. Very bad business and although it was not him..he should know how people he hires are treating customers who spent money there just...

I ordered a pizza to be delivered so you know I live less than 3 miles away. Yes I could drive there to pick the order up. I had a few drinks and didn’t want to drive and take a chance getting pulled over. After 1 hour and ten minutes waiting for my order I called to check on my order I was told it was out to be delivered. 15 minutes later I called to check on it again remember I live less than 3 miles away. I was told they had an issue with their computer it wasn’t printing out a receipt and the order was leaving now. I told them to cancel my order. When I ordered they asked me for my phone number so why didn’t they call me to tell me there was an issue? I worked in the food. Industry for a long time and this is on the owner not the the 18 to 25 year old manager. Hire...
