Dunkin' — Restaurant in Town of North Hempstead

First off, this Dunkin Donuts is garbage. This is not a customer review but more of a employee review letting everyone who plans on working here, don't make that mistake. Save yourself. I'd like to start with the manager. The store manager, Theepan, is the biggest 2 faced ego filled hypocrite I've ever worked with. This man probably had nothing better to do in life or most probably had no importance so he became a dunkin donut manager where he would feel he serves some purpose in this world and gives his employees a hard time just to feel big and tough because that is the only place it will work for him. This man, interviewed me and hired me with nothing but smiles and jokes but as soon as I got on the first day of my job going forward, he's attitude had completely changed and I came to a realization that if you are not a FEMALE, or someone of his cultural background, he will treat you a certain way, far different then how he will treat his female employees or employees of his cultural background, this is an act of cowardly favoritism. Second, during my hiring process I provided this "store manager" with my passport and social security along with filling out my name CLEARLY more then a dozen times and this "store manager" STILL managed to mess my name up in the system potentially voiding my check due to incorrect name. Are you kidding me? how do you mess up something so easy? You had one job my friend. one job. Not to mention when I confronted him about this he tried to push it to the side like me getting paid did not matter at all to him and at that point I had to become rude to this "store manager". Next, who orders shipment (as we call it "DCP") for this store? The location is constantly running out of donut boxes, box of Joe, oatmeal, napkins, etc. and I myself have had to turn down customers multiple times because my super amazing award winning "store manager" does a fantastic job, seriously believe me when I say this guys, theres no one like him. Thirdly, this man is a discrimination to all dunkin donut managers. Today I asked him if there was a way I could come in another day in the week because i am hired as a full time employee and his response was "No, because your too damn slow". Wait what? mind you guys I've worked in dunkin donut before and never have I ever had to hear such a shallow absurd remark from any of my managers. This Nincompoop over here, thinks his workers are robots and we have to run around driving our selfs crazy possibly messing up peoples orders rush or no rush, line or no line, this man does not care. He just cares about image and Ive confronted him saying all of your employees are just about the same speed as me, if anything they are a few seconds faster with it but what is a few seconds really? would customers not want their orders to come out right the way they want? get what they paid for? should a "manager" not have better understanding? If a female employee or someone from his background were to take out their phones and text behind the counter and what not you will not hear a peep from him but he feels its right to bash on me and make me seem like I'm a horrible employee just because I am NOT a female, and I am NOT from his cultural background. Lastly guys, this man insulted and threatened me and thats where he had crossed the line with me. He continuously spoke nonsense about my performance even though NONE of my co workers had any complaints about me but he thinks since he sits on his butt in his office all day on his phone and bosses people around doing next to nothing himself, he knows EVERYTHING. The man had falsely accused me of not being productive and when I had spoke on his utter nonsense he said "You are stupid if you think you know how to make everything" and he had said "If you talk back to me you will be fired", in a way guys he was trying to say no one knows better then him and if anyone tries to prove so they will be fired, he will not hire anyone better then him. Other then that the location is great but if you come to work here, steer clear...

Out of dunkin donuts places this one is perhaps the worst in Nassau county that i had the displeasure of visiting and will avoid at all costs. The ice coffee i got was made way too quickly and had a hard sour syrup substance at the bottom of it. Not one of the wonderful syrups offered by dunkin donuts fine selection of syrups, no this syrup was rotten perhaps left out to rot by imps or horrible employees who offer no smiles nor a hint of service, even when there is nobody in the place.

Added to this, to clear out my mouth of the horrible monstrosity of a drink i was served, i have to "ask" the dunkin donuts employees to open up the bathroom so i can use it. It doesn't work all the time and people simply sneak in and out. To ask to use the bathroom, to use some sort of lock system, I can only assume druggies favor this place over other dunkin donuts and to take a quick look around, I saw several shaking, red eyed people drinking small coffees.

Added to this, the parking lot has a dangerous turn that I would not want to visit on a daily basis. If you want horrible dunkin drinks, horrible donuts, horrible service, horrible atmosphere by all means go towards this horrible excuse of a...

The facility was very clean and well kept. The guy behind the counter was less than desirable, as he didn't seem to want to be there. No greeting, no smile, not a word from him. Even with the $2 med Latte deal, which I only saw after I ordered, he was going to charge me the regular price until I brought it to his attention. It still seemed to burden him to give me that advertised discount which I could not understand. A few minutes later he had a small dispute with the customer behind me to the accuracy of his order. I only come here once in a while when I am driving down Willis Ave, but this certain employee needs a refresher training course on customer service as he is in this industry. Anyway, it won't deter from visiting again, but he is not making any positive points for this Dunkin Donuts location.
