We’ve been to this place twice in the last week - once we sat down and once for take out. I really hope they do well and are around for very long time. It is a casual spot but very nice with several tables inside. You can watch them preparing the fresh pasta and they have a display case showing the choices. It is very simple but high quality and executed really well. You pick from several different types of pasta and then choose the sauce from a few choices. The pasta is tender and chewy - perfect al dente. So far we’ve had: spaghetti carbonara, paccheri amatricana, lasagna, gnocchi with vodka sauce. They also have three sides and several salads. The fried artichoke salad was fantastic - crisp artichokes - very light and delicious. We tried to meatballs, eggplant parm and the Arancini. Meatballs were great and I loved the eggplant parm; my wife and daughter aren’t as big fans of eggplant parm usually but they tried this and it was so light and delicious that they couldnt help but enjoy. For dessert we’ve tried to tiramisu and the nonna tart (like a lemon pine nut tart with a thin layer of custard) and we really liked them both. They have a few other desserts too. They do espresso and gelato - I wish they offered affogato. They serve wine but I havent tried any yet. I had an Italian blood orange soda the first time and enjoyed that. Service was also great - the young women providing service were friendly and attentive as well as the owner who is also a warm and friendly person. Overall, it’s a great place for a nice sit down meal in relaxed but pleasant surroundings or good for take out and we look forward...

We visited Pastaru Pastifico on a Thursday evening around 5:30 PM. Despite the crowd, there were still tables available, and the vibe was lively but relaxed.
Ordering can be a little unclear at first—there’s wait staff, but it feels like you should order at the counter. We ended up ordering at the counter, where the owner Simone personally welcomed us and explained the concept: fresh pasta, your way. You choose your pasta, sauce, and optional protein. All the pasta is made in-house with imported Italian 00 semolina flour—great for those testing gluten sensitivity.
What we ordered: • All the sides – Every one was excellent! • Carciofini fritti were crispy and addictive • Eggplant Plant Parm was fresh and flavorful • Meatballs were super tender • Arancini had a perfect crunch and rich filling
Pasta: • Spaghetti alla Carbonara – Easily one of the best we’ve ever had. No cream—just the real deal. • Paccheri with Amatriciana – Bold, rich, and satisfying. • Gnocchi with Vodka Sauce – So soft and delicate. Absolute comfort food.
Everything was clearly made with high-quality ingredients and care.
We were too full for dessert but took home the Tiramisu and Torta della Nonna—both were excellent. Not overly sweet, just balanced and delicious.
Perfect for: ✅ Casual dinner dates ✅ Light lunches ✅ Pasta lovers looking for authentic, house-made dishes ✅ Great service in a cozy, welcoming environment
Highly recommend stopping in—even just for a small plate and cappuccino. A true gem and one of the best pasta spots we’ve been to. Looking forward to...

This authentic pasta bar is a casual eatery where you order at the counter, and then the servers bring the food to you. While the atmosphere is very casual and simple, it’s clean, comfortable, and homey. The food is what you are there for anyway.
My family and I tried every side dish; meatballs, eggplant parmigiana, and arancini, as well as the rucola (arugula) salad. All were delicious and the portions were enough to share (we were 5 people) but small enough that you will have room for a pasta entree.
All the pasta was handmade in house and absolutely delicious and authentic. With a family of 5 and everyone trying a different sauce, we got a great sampling and no one had a single complaint about their meal. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, with a nice bite just like they do in Italy.
This isn’t your typical Italian-American restaurant where you’ll find chicken parm slathered in cheese and giant Caesar salads.
If you’re looking to be reminded of Italy and try actual Italian food (with some American classics like vodka sauce!) this is definitely the place.
This felt like an actual restaurant in Italy with low AC and all drinks, including water, needing to be purchased...
