Instead of leaving a review I thought to call to give the chef and host a gentle critique about my Egg Benedict W| smoked salmon, but after my conversation with Matt I decided to share my experience with everyone else on the internet. Everyone I’m sure this establishment has great food, but when you go take a few things into consideration. Before you purchase their Egg Benedict keep in mind they “boil” their eggs instead of frying it. Two given the history of Egg Benedict as Matt said the biscuit or bread does in fact go under the protein (which it does), but make sure you “the customer” explicitly say you want to use the bread to eat with the jelly you requested. Oh and another thing my Eggs Benedict we’re actually hard boiled eggs, and luckily the meal came with a side salad so instead of eating it as I imagined. I then shredded up my HARD BOILED EGGS with the Mediocre smoked salmon and ate it. Was it worth the $17.38 HELL NO! 10/10 wouldn’t...

Currently on a 50 restaurant tour encompassing Nassau, Suffolk County, NYC and Massachusetts. Restaurant number 42. A name like Chef's Corner conjures up visions of upscale Michelin star restaurant. Upon entry I was immediately given clarity. Apparently I need to get out more as this was anything but that. Little curb appeal matched only by It's drab decor and ambiance. It's reminiscent of a hospital cafeteria. Had I not been determined to experience this place I would've deliberately missed it. I must say in all honesty, it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Parking is affordable and available. The wait staff was polite and accommodating as a seat by the door is a problem on a cold day. The cook can cook as the food was very flavorful. The old adage " don't judge a book by It's cover " applies here. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely pay them...

I have been driving along Mineola for as long I could remember and didn't notice this breakfast place until now. Though it accepts cash only for breakfast/brunch, it didn't bother me and hubby. Not much tables but it wasn't crowded at noon time on a Sunday. We were seated promptly. Coffee was excellent, strong to our liking . Servers were nice and kitchen was very accommodating to my request ( scrambled egg with chopped tomato, onion, scallion and cilantro ). Omelette comes with homemade muffin ( selections of banana, plain, blueberry and more ), not the boring toast but still available if you wanted it. Homefries were not boring as well. It's tasty. My husband had steak and eggs which prepared uniquely as well. We like their variations of what we ordered. So highly recommend. Of course , we...

❗️LONG ISLAND’S BEST PANCAKES + AMAZING BRUNCH AT THE CHEFS CORNER IN MINEOLA ✔️ This place is a certified hidden gem on Long Island, bringing together chef made breakfast and lunch to create an epic foodie experience. I can’t say enough good things about this joint and the team behind it. The pancakes are arguably perfect: Crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside and paired simply with fresh fruit. It’s a bite you’ll always remember. 📌 Beyond that, the menu is top tier. The omelette were awesome (the Mexican style one being a MUST TRY), the biscuits are homemade & delicious and even the lunch items were banging. The chicken wrap + quesadilla were high quality and so tasty. 🫶 Add this to your hit list immediately and promptly cross it off. Weekend brunch is about to begin, after all. 👀 📍 Mineola, Long Island #LongIsland #Brunch #LongIslandNY #FoodLover #LongIslandNewYork
