Dante's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Oneonta

Staying at a hotel a couple miles away we were in the mood for a stromboli. Had a couple options, but reviews here were good so tried it.

Everyone was friendly. We thought it was a sit down restaurant, but it was no big deal. The gentlemen at the counter was nice when we asked. He said just order here and we can bring it to you.

We got three strombolis and a chicken parm sandwich with fries. The sandwich I was told was delicious. The strombolis were good, but they actually had too much cheese. The outside was warm and crispy but the inside was still kind of cool since there is so much cheese. It was still good, just would’ve preferred the middle to be warm.

My only issue was the size of the stromboli, and that we weren’t told that. I know that’s odd to complain about, but they were huge. They knew we were new there since we asked about how to order. Two seniors and a middle aged person ordered a small stromboli a piece. I really wish they would’ve told us how big they were. They should’ve known the older people would never eat that much. We were staying at a hotel and moving on the next day. We ended up throwing away an entire one plus some. I don’t mind cost wise (they were only something like $14 a piece). I just hate being wasteful.

All in all it was a good meal. Three of us could’ve probably shared a small one and been good (or got a large and maybe a little full). Like I said, just wish we would’ve been told that it could’ve fed more than one person so we didn’t throw...

I was not very happy with the service first of all when I called the girl I spoke to said the last time I could call and place a delivery order would be at 8:20pm or around 8:30pm so it was 8:10pm exactly when I placed my order and I was told it would take about 45 minutes well they closed at 9:00pm so I’m waiting for my food and mind you with three hungry children to feed and 9:10pm rolls around and no food so I call the store and no answer no phone call no nothing so 9:58pm rolls around and a car pulls up in my driveway and it’s them with my food is cold and the garlic bread that I got was three tiny garlic nots in this big container it literally looked like they just threw my food together was not happy at all didn’t get a chance to take pictures because my kids had already dug into it because they were hungry and then on top of that when I called the next day to complain the guy I spoke to was like well I don’t know we probably didn’t have the bread for the garlic bread but I was like you guys took almost 2 hours to deliver my food and again the guy was like well I don’t know no well I’m sorry to hear that nothing very poor customer service the food was terrible and I will not be ordering from them again and I will not be recommending them to any of my friends or...

a few days ago me and my family order from here. We got our food at a decent time, was handed the wrong food then finally got our order. When we opened it my sandwich was made wrong. Me and my mother had to split hers and make mine how it was supposed to be so I had something to eat that night. Tonight we order me the same food I got last time. I asked for nothing but cheese, bacon and the sauce. I got everything, lettuce, onions and tomatoes, I would of been fine with everything but onions.
