Anytime I drive through a new neighborhood and see a Colombian restaurant, I have to pull over and try the food without exceptions. This was the case with this place. Just happened to see it as I was passing through and pulled over for their lunch special. Very affordable place and the food is really good. We ordered 2 chicken soup lunch specials, a small and a large,. The small is just a bowl of soup, but the large comes with a side platter of grilled steak, rice, beans, fried plantains, and an arepa. Read moreAs a Colombian, I approve of the flavor of the food at this place. It was delicious. However, it is very imposing and rude that they added 15% of the bill as a tip without asking. The service was good, but the client has the right to decide about the tip. Unfortunately, this is not the only Latin American restaurant that abuses the U.S. tip culture. In addition this restaurant is openly in violation of the New York General Business Law Section 518. They charge more for using credit/debit card instead of cash. It is illegal in NYS. Also, the place deserves an extension and better infrastructure. It is too small, making it uncomfortable...
