Spellbound Books — Restaurant in Town of Owego

I discovered this place by googling book stores in owego. I decided to give it a visit. It does have parking for only a few cars, but the inside is so welcoming. The staff is top notch. They serve bagels, salad, coffee, teas and a few other things. I had the best fresh baked rosemary parmesan bagel with bacon and pepper jack. For drinks I selected Tulsi sweet Rose tea. Delicious! It has small area for children nicely decorated, multiple adult seatings to make yourself feel right at home. Nice selection of books including some newly release and logo authors. Today I saw that they had on the table some books wrapped with a small note referencing what type of read but The title is a mystery until...

Other reviews werent kidding about it being the best coffee in town. Carols has good coffee if you load it with syrup, owego kitchen doesnt have great coffee. I wont even talk about the coffee at drinkin dognuts. This however is a spectacular cup. Not bitter or acidic. The bagels are nice and crunchy on the outside and pillowy soft inside. Small sections of bookshelves held my attention better than staring at a whole wall of books. Nice little combo coffee...

Best coffee in town by a long shot. The seasonal iced blueberry lattes are AMAZING. If you aren’t a coffee person, blueberry is included in their flavored Italian sodas. The blueberries are locally sourced from a family farm which makes it all the sweeter of a treat. Go try one before they are gone!
