Roasted Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Town of Owego

I had my first Roasted experience this morning - it most certainly won't be my last. I love all kinds of coffee and may have stared indecisively at all my options a bit too long before a wonderfully helpful barista asked me what I was thinking about today. I said maybe you can suggest something - I'd like cold brew, cold foam, mild sweetness, and just about any flavor you have. She pondered for a brief moment and said - would you like something that tastes like a blueberry muffin? I said ABSOLUTELY. She proceeded to whip me up a terrific drink that was just as good as advertised. After the transaction she continued to make some very genuine, helpful suggestions for things to try in the future. Now I would give my own business to just about anyplace that has a good product, but when service exceeds expectations to this level that's the kind of business that I must insist other people try. My 2 year old daughter and I were finally able to stop down to Roasted and I’m so glad we did! We unfortunately weren’t able to stay and enjoy our goodies there but we certainly had the best experience! First of all, the aesthetic is gorgeous, as soon as you walk in the door you are hit with the amazing aroma of coffee and sweets. We were greeted by the kindest barista and the owner. As we were ordering my daughter was asking for coffee, so I explained how she helps her dad make espressos and she has her very own little coffee cup that she gets “coffee” in, which is really whipped cream. As I was finishing my order, Rob had jumped behind the counter and made my daughter her very own “coffee” at Roasted!! I thought it was so thoughtful and kind. It definitely made her day! had such a wonderful first visit here this morning! i was so happy to see another coffee shop in the area and have always enjoyed traveling to visit each one and test out their espresso! i’m so happy to say- roasted did NOT disappoint- the espresso is so smooth and each drink is crafted with care and intention. also couldn’t resist trying out the avocado toast (HUGE points for the pickled onion addition- truly a magic ingredient when it comes to the crafting of avocado toast) and it was so incredibly fresh, flavorful, and delicious. down to the wedge of lemon that comes with the toast- every bite was divine and so very tasty. so lucky to have this spot in my hometown and cannot wait to...
