We heard about this place from a friend. We wanted to order a cake for our baby shower. What we wanted wasn’t as simple as going to Wegmans and ordering it. When we walked in, it was so welcoming! You don’t get that many places. The owners are beyond friendly and welcoming! That alone would bring me back to the store! We ordered our cake a bit in advanced. Then the week of, we stopped in with some cake toppers we wanted to add. We then also decided we wanted cookies along with the cake. They had no issue squeezing them in! That same day we got a few slices of a cake in there and oh my goodness it was delicious! When we picked up the cake and cookies they showed us the results and let me tell you they looked fantastic!! I was rather underwhelmed by my experience here, got a couple drinks and some cake. Cake was quite gummy, not particularly flavorful, and possibly under cooked (i bake gluten free and it really is not that hard to make a properly done cake). My drink was plain green tea, it was weak and not brewed well. The person who came with me was also not impressed by their drink and decided to go to DD to get a replacement. Overall disappointing because at first glance the place seems really cool and has interesting options, but in experience it seemed pretty lackluster. Plenty of delicious dessert options for every taste and dietary lifestyle - make sure you check the Facebook page's most recent live video to see what's in store. Don't shy away from the gluten-free options if you've never had them before; they're as good or BETTER than conventional confections.
