This Carvel is located on Hicksville Road at Boundary Avenue, across from John H West Elementary School. We have been buying Ice Cream there (almost weekly) for over 5 years. The owner Jeff is amazing. He runs his franchise so well that he became one of the training centers for new Franchisee Owners to be able to train them on Carvel Rules Regulations, and Practices.

Our son has life threatening peanut allergies. Jeff is able to make peanut free as well as gluten free cakes for anyone who asks. He even allows us to bring in safe toppings for the top of the cakes or for the inside of the cakes between the layers (chocolate crunchies are not peanut free). Jeff has made us over 15 cakes over the past 5 years and we have never had an issue.

At this location, the regular vanilla and regular chocolate soft serve are safe flavors for children with peanut allergies. This one specific machine has never been in contact with other flavors and has never had any other flavor in it. My son with life threatening peanut allergies eats the vanilla soft ice cream almost weekly.

I would not hesitate for a second to recommend this...

This is by far the best Carvel I've ever been to - my husband and I have thought so since we've been going there. The other day I went in to talk to the owner, who is super nice, and asked if I could possibly order a fudgie the whale in the shape of a turtle for my son's birthday. He was more than happy to accommodate my request. When I picked it up today I was overwhelmed by how awesome it came out. My son loved it! Beautiful and...
