Plenty of parking, table seating to the left after the to go typical pizzeria display windows. The food came out pretty decently in terms of time. Service was not that great as the server just appeared to not want to serve us..didn’t really come by often (I had to get another server to get him) and when you asked for something he would go off to either another table or go talk to two female servers before getting what we asked for which could be a simple soda to more bread. The food however was great - so we will probably go back but order to go. Their table bread was amazing and a big hit with my girls. We noticed a trend where anything with bread here was amazing from their pizza crust, bread in the table to the bread bowls. For the pastas - you can add a bread bowl and/or burrata to it for an extra charge. The penne vodka with burrata 9/10 was the table’s favorite of the night. The spaghetti with meatballs were not something I recommend 6/10 - the meatballs were ok but the tomato sauce was surprisingly not that good and bland. Although the bread bowl is pretty nice in presentation - you don’t really need it and isn’t really worth the extra $7-8. The calamari 7/10, albeit tasty was not a lot in portion. The Mac and cheese was a hit with my kids 9/10. The pepperoni and burrata pizza was good 8/10. The pomegranate martini was amazing 10/10 - definitely recommend. Dessert - the Nutella ice cream was pretty good 9/10. Update 07/2025
Food and staff are great but the cleanliness is questionable; there were flies everywhere in the back seating area so we asked to be seated in the middle. Then when we got our plates - in between a set was a dead fruit fly… It’s really sad as their food is good but now I’m wondering if we should return if there are flies around… The almond crusted French toast was amazing - crunchy outside and soft inside while not being too sweet 9/10 Chocolate chip pancakes were good but not one I would get again 8/10 Eggs...
Read moreI have ended up in this place because saw a post from some food blogger on Instagram. It was OMG! OMG! OMG! So i decided to try it for myself. Well, the explanation was high, but what did I get in reality. It is average small shopping plaza restaurant (which is not necessary a bad thing). Ordering sparkling water and getting club soda from a machine was a first sign. It was 3 of us and we have ordered one chicken ceasar salad and 3 pastas. Good thing that they have provided a basket of bread, because it was probably the longest wait for pasta in my life. They have brought salad and pasta together, despite my request to make pasta aldente, only one our of three was more or less can be considered aldente. Dranken burrata and Alfredo with chicken pastas were just average nothing special. The only one that was good and more or less aldente was short rib pasta. Ceasar salad was good. Pizza bowl was total overkill, yes it looks good, but totally impractical for pasta, but will cost you additional $. I suggest to order it only for salad. I have ordered americano, but got shot of espresso instead. So in conclusion it is shopping mall restaurant, not bad, but definitely not OMG. So if you take it as it is you should be fine. It is not the place worth to travel from somewhere, but if you nearby and have cravings for average pasta or pizza that could...
Read moreHaving spent many years in the restaurant and hospitality industry myself, I can easily recognize the little things that separate bad service from good, and good service from great.. I needed to cater a dinner party at my home with several trays of food, apps and entrees etc…
not only did Jake, the general manager personally handle my order, he went out of his way to ensure perfection in every detail. After picking up my order and bringing everything home, we had an unfortunate slip up and dropped an entire tray of penne vodka all over our kitchen floor before we could even serve it. My wife was very very upset and flipping out as our first guests were arriving. A 60 second phone call to Jake later, and a new tray of penne alla vodka was being whipped up to be delivered to my door, free of charge. Wow!
This put my wife and me at ease, calmed our nerves, and helped us to successfully host a large dinner party in our home - with many compliments to the chef 🧑🍳 🤌🏼
We are relatively new home owners in Levittown, and have been trying out different restaurants all year. We will never order from another Italian restaurant in Nassau county as long as we’re here. Huge thank you and special shout out to Jake at Italiano Bethpage, and five stars to the whole team 👏 👏...
