Choppers Burger Bar — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

I ordered dinner through Doordash because I was not able to get to the restaurant. They sent me the incorrect item that I was not able to eat. When I called the restaurant, I had to deal with people who had no clue what they were doing. They could not figure out how to get me my food. They were actually unwilling to do so. They would not help me with doordash, they would not refund my money. They would not send somebody to my house with the food. I heard they ground their own meat everyday before turning it into burgers. That's freshness and you can taste it. My family's top pick and frequently they rate it above shake shack. A couple of days ago I realized they extended the menu even further The tacos they added are to die for some of the best most tender steak I've had in my life. Great job choppers. I used to come to this place about three years ago and the food was great. I came tonight. They forgot to put some of my order in the bag. Didn’t realize till I got home and when I called them, they said oops we forgot. The burgers were terrible. had to bring the whole order back and have them remake it. Even the hamburger buns were stale. All the staff does is stand around and talk instead of getting the order right. I hope the owner can manage this place better and get it to where it used to be.
