Lucky Penguin Frozen Yogurt Bubble tea — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

It was exciting to finally visit and try Lucky Penguin. The store could have a better interior/atmosphere but it was still welcoming.

Had the Taro bubble tea which was up to typical standards, and a rolled ice cream crepe combo that was absolutely delicious. Also tried the spicy kani rice ball which was tasty and led me to wish there were more options for their rice balls. Overall their menu carries a lot of other food, sweets, and drinks options which I look forward to trying.

Holding 1 star because they really have to look into their atmosphere/aesthetic, right now it feels like an odd in between for toddlers to middle school aged teens. They can definitely do more than cater to that specific age group and make it welcoming to all ages.

Holding another star because there are items that you can tell are fillers or fluffers in their menu. For what they advertise, they do great on. I'd rather they lose the fillers and provide more items that are in line with the rest of their menu.

Ice cream and frozen yogurt are ok, The line is long, they keep taking online orders, not organized, staff with no uniform, no gloves, very rude owner, we waited in the line for a long time. We totally have 3 kids, 2 kids got their ice cream and till they finished their ice cream, the 3rd kid still wait for her scoop of ice cream, think about the feelings of the 3rd kid. When we asked to give the 3rd kid a scoop of ice cream, the female owner start to yelling at us to wait, but we waited! For a long period of time! They kept working on online orders I guess, but as a walk in customer we be totally ignored. You are busy is not a reason to yell at your customers, btw, the worker over there didn't wear mask. The business owner yelled at customer is really rare, I guess we customers spoiled...

This place is amazing! It's also a few shops down from a Ralph's, but it's so much better! There's so many options and they have savory food as well as sweet. I got the japanese crêpe with Matcha ice cream ($8.00) and unlimited toppings were included! They had popping boba toppings as well as rainbow mochi. They also sell bubble tea, rolled ice cream (they provide lactose-free options), bubble waffles, savory crêpes, hash browns, hot dogs, etc.! I highly recommend this place.
