Gyro Station of Glen Head is seriously the best little spot in the neighborhood. I can't get enough of their outdoor seating; it just adds a cozy vibe to the whole experience. And let me tell you, their chicken souvlaki is a game-changer. They go against the norm and use chicken thigh instead of boring old breast, and oh boy, it makes all the difference. The chicken is so dang juicy and tender, it practically melts in your mouth. Whenever I'm hosting a party, I always turn to their catering menu. Trust me, my guests are blown away by the food. The flavors, the presentation, everything is on point. It's like having a five-star restaurant right in my backyard. But you know what really sets Gyro Station apart? The owner, Vasili. That guy is a gem. He's always there, working his tail off, and he genuinely cares about his customers. He'll chat you up, make you feel welcome, and you can just tell he pours his heart and soul into this place. Supporting Gyro Station feels like supporting a friend, and that's why I keep coming back. If you haven't been to Gyro Station of Glen Head yet, you're seriously missing out. Treat yourself and go grab a seat outside. You won't be disappointed.

Lemon chicken soup is always the best from gyro station and the staff are both warm and welcoming too. My family and I love everything we have ever ordered from here, small hidden gem right by the glen head train station. We mostly grab food to go and bring it home, always perfectly packaged and always fresh.

Very nice gyro!! Until now my favorite from the region! The flavor is so similar to the original gyros! I’m so happy I came to this place 😍

Just happened to be in the Glen Head area for a client, and on my way back on the LIRR, I was looking for a spot to grab a bite when G.maps guided me here. Super convenient to the platform heading west, and they have a great outdoor patio at the side of the building. This allows you to still keep the tracks in your line of sight. That said, since this was my first time here, I stuck to the basics. If a Gyro spot doesn't get the gyro meat right... then why bother coming back? They nailed it!! They must be making their blend on site because this was one of the most delicious gyros I've ever had. I opted for a combination sandwich with gyro & pork souvlaki, no lettuce, and with BBQ sauce and spicy feta.

The pita was buttery, soft, warm, and delicious. The combination of onions, herbs, tomatoes, and sauce with the spicy feta was a taste explosion in my mouth. Will definitely be back next time I see my client, and will also make sure my train schedule allows for time to sit and enjoy my meal. #GoodEats...

I love the souvlaki sticks the chicken and pork I eat it with hot sauce it’s very good I don’t really like beef lamb but I noticed that a lot of people order it so it must be very tasty to them! The atmosphere is very peaceful when you eat outside when it’s a little dark out they have nice colorful lights out with nice decorations! These reviews are not it anyhow. People are plain rude and love to complain about everything. This is a small business, they are trying the best to bring new costumers in and to serve the best food they can and the woman talking about rats in the place it’s lying through her teeth you can’t even SEE the kitchen inside and even when you come in it looks clean and also complaining about prices in this day? This isn’t the 2000s people the EVERYTHING is overpriced idk what you guys are ordering but a chicken gyro is around 13 dollars and it’s big and if youre always complaining about prices DONT EAT OUT simple...
