Title: Disappointing Service and Unhygienic Environment Overshadowed Great Food
Rating: ⭐⭐
I recently dined at [ Kabajees and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While the food itself was exceptional, the overall service and cleanliness of the establishment were major letdowns.
Let's start with the positives. The food at Kababjees was undoubtedly the highlight of my visit. Each dish I ordered was prepared to perfection, bursting with flavor, and deserving of a solid 5 out of 5 rating. The chefs truly showcased their culinary skills, and I commend them for their efforts.
However, the same cannot be said for the service. With the exception of Ayesha, who stood out as a shining star amidst the chaos, the rest of the staff seemed disinterested and inattentive. It was evident that they lacked proper training in customer service. The waitstaff appeared overwhelmed and struggled to keep up with the demands of the restaurant, resulting in long wait times and a general sense of disorganization.
Moreover, the cleanliness of the establishment was a major concern. Dirty dishes were left unattended on tables for extended periods, creating an unappealing and unsanitary dining environment. The bathrooms were in dire need of attention, with uncleaned floors and overflowing trash bins. Even the napkin holders on the tables were visibly dirty, which was off-putting and reflected a lack of attention to detail.
It is disheartening to see such potential in the food quality overshadowed by subpar service and unhygienic conditions. While Ayesha's exceptional service was appreciated, it is clear that the restaurant as a whole needs to address these issues promptly. Customers should not have to compromise on cleanliness and service when paying for a dining experience.
In conclusion, while the food at Kababjees was undeniably delicious, the poor service and unclean environment greatly impacted my overall experience. I hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements to ensure a more enjoyable dining experience for...
Read moreNo doubt the owner is on a buying spree of one million dollars homes ( bought 3 the rumors are bought one million dollars home cash ) .It's way expensive when compare to Jackson Heights and other Desi ( Indian Pakistanies and Bangladesh Nepal) restaurants .for example a pound of chicken karahi is $29:99 . In that one pound the only chicken meat you can find is few small pieces rest is tomato and tomato. No doubt tomato makes Desi dishes very delicious but why I'm huge quantity ( a lot of people now days are advised by doctors to stay away from salt & tomatoes. Any way all other dishes which are easily available at quality food restaurants like BBQ nite Elmont rd Velly Stream branch ( not Hicksville) for $12 here at this way expensive place are $18 some are $25 .the best Nan in entire NY at BBQ nite Elmont rd is $1:50 here $2:50 . And when you compare just BBQ nite with this place food BBQ or any other good restaurant is better in taste for half the price. Hicksville population is mostly of people making more than $80000 to $150000 so on their pockets it's not a burden they just want to spend money. On the other hand inflation has made lower middle class already in hand to mouth . Most of New Yorkers are now lower middle class or lower class . They can't now afford a pound of chicken for $29:99 $2:50 Nan and other dishes not less than $18 plus tax and then these greedy restaurants owners charge different credit card surcharges you name it .White people can pay easily these expensive prices because their Italian food served in restaurants are expensive but Pakistanies restaurants and no rein on prices Who will stop this nonsense...
Read moreAhh kababjees what can I say I came to you guys couple years ago when the restaurant was smaller (not what it is now) and was blown away by your food and service, Then I came back about two weeks ago for lunch and again food was great, fresh, tasty. I then decided to bring my entire family for dinner couple nights ago and..... it was a complete disaster, we were seated right by the door which was very uncomfortable. We never received our salad which was provided to all the tables around us... we ordered after about 20 mins of being seated then 40 mins later we received our lamb chops and nothing else... we asked our waiter why we only got one of our dishes and nothing else and he apologized and asked if it was okay for him to bring out some naan for us.... being so hungry and waiting for so long we said sure bring us our naan. Then about 15 mins later the rest of our items were brought to our table. The food quality was nowhere near what I had experienced in the past . I am attaching pictures of the overseasoned biryani and the under cooked lambchops
I honestly believe that you need to have a serious meeting with your waiters and teach them proper etiquette of waiting tables and put a proper system in place so there is consistancy in your service. if you like I personally can provide this specific service for you. They seem to be all over the place and that is no good. at this point I do not see myself coming back to your restaurant or recommending it to others.
To the rest of the world it is 50/50 with this place so I would...
