I gave the place another chance tonight - BAD MOVE. Their quality of food has since declined yet further and their prices have gone up again. To add insult to injury, they now REQUIRE a minimum 18% gratuity on parties of 2 or more (so, if you are not dining alone, you will forced to pay the excessive gratuity). Further to that, they calculate the tax before the gratuity so you pay another 18% of the tax. To go even further they also will charge a 3.5% surcharge if you pay by credit card. Overall, the restaurant has gone from BAD to WORSE and they have the audacity to rip you off at every opportunity. There is no need for mandatory gratuity for a party of two, calculating gratuity on top of tax and then still to charge 3.5% when paying with credit card. I can go on but, I have learned my lesson: If you want good food, good service at a good price and want to respected as a customer, Skip this place. ***BELOW IS MY REVIEW FROM 4 YEARS AGO - IT SEEMS THEY HAVENT LEARNED THEIR LESSON*** We used to go to this place all the time however we have notice gradual yet steady decline in food quality and service with a significant increase in price. Actually, on our last visit I was APPROACHED BY WAIT STAFF DEMANDING ADDITIONAL TIP after I had already left 15% (for a party of 3). Overall, I will try to avoid this place in the future.

On our quest to find shrimp deep fried in eggroll wrappers aka shrimp mermaid for my son, we decided to have dinner here. First, no shrimp mermaids lol. But they have shrimp wrapped in egg noodles and then deep fried. Not the same thing. I enjoyed them but my felt there was too much egg noodles. Wound up taking most of it off and eating the shrimp. I got the massaman curry and it tasted great! I enjoyed it and there was plenty for leftovers. Wifey got the pad see ew with beef. She said it was okay. But it was mainly because she likes her beef crispy and charred. lol. I thought the beef was tasty. The taste reminded me of Korean kalbi. Plenty of leftovers there too. Atmosphere was okay. When we arrived for dinner there were no other customers. Sat anywhere we wanted. But there were plenty of seating and it was clean inside. Service was good. Quick. Not necessarily friendly but professional. Brought us water and the food came out in relatively short time. When asking to pack up the leftovers they brought out containers to the table and packed it for us. When paying by card they had a portable card scanner on them. I wouldn’t mind coming back. But because they don’t have shrimp mermaids and don’t charr their beef, we will most likely continue on our quest elsewhere.

My maiden visit this weekend was for a take-away. Place was cavernous - and crowded! Easily the largest Thai place I’ve been to. Can’t comment on service. Can comment on the food - lip smacking lay delicious! The beef satay was a well executed variation of the usual in chicken. The green curry, Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai, and Basil Chicken all hit the spot. Looking forward to dining in the next time! *Edit* our second visit was a dine-in. Once again, we loved it! Great spacious interior, lots of tables. Seated promptly. Food tastes amazing as before, more amazing when eaten fresh and not as a take out. We repeated the pad thai and green curry. Also added a pad see ew, Thai calamari, papaya salad, fried rice, and one of the stir fries. Every dish was amazing. Would love to repeat.

We usually love this place, but we recently had a VERY bad experience. I will be reporting this restaurant to the FDA.

My girlfriend has Celiac disease. If she consumes wheat then she is violently ill and sometimes fatigued and in physical pain for days - like cannot work kind of pain.

We called before we came. I told them girlfriend has Celiac and asked about gluten options for a specific meal - the Mee Ga Ti - and they assured me that the noodle itself was gluten free (rice noodle), but they would substitute the sauce.

We came and ordered and once again made it clear she has Celiac. They said the fried tofu was not Gluten Free, so we took that out of the order and just substituted the new Gluten Free sauce.

The order comes. My girlfriend eats a decent amount. Finds fried tofu in it and freaks out because it means she is going to be suffering later, so we notify them that the meal is contaminated with Gluten. They tell us they will make it again.

Then they come back and tell us that they made a mistake and that the noodles are NOT actually gluten free. My girlfriend really freaks out because it means that she is most definitely going to be in a lot of pain and suffering later considering how much she ate. She was crying and obviously very upset and we just needed to get home to tend to her.

So, to recap. I called and I was assured that the noodles in the Mi-Ga Ti were Gluten Free. Then they made the meal knowing she has Celiac and didn't think to check if the noodles were, in fact, Gluten Free. Then they still added the fried tofu.

After all this, they charged me for my meal, but very kindly didn't charge us for the poison they served her. I am going to be reporting this restaurant to the FDA. It's a shame, because I really liked going here...

I just left Lemonleaf Grill in Hicksville and I could not be more annoyed. We ordered a steak medium-rare, and it came out well done. My family sent it back and was going to switch it to a duck dish instead, but the manager told us it was dry and better to keep with a steak, so we trusted his judgment. The second one came back about 15 minutes later after we finished the rest of our food, and it was now rare bordering raw. At this point, we just wanted to take it off of our bill. It took us almost 20 minutes to get a waiter over to the table and upon request of removing the item from the bill, they said no since the steak was cooked twice. They wanted to recook it for us, but at that point, we had been finished with our meal for over a half-hour and wanted to get home. We also did not trust they would be able to cook it right a third time. We deducted the amount from the bill and left the restaurant only to have the manager follow us into the parking lot demanding the additional money as well as an 18% service fee for the worst service ever. In the end, we were forced to pay the additional fee as the manager would not move from behind our car. I have been to this restaurant in the past and have never had issues like this. This will definitely be the last time my family eats there. I felt a need to let others know how they treat their customers. If I could I would have given this...

Food was good but service was not. The young girl that served us sat us down near the other people. We wanted to sit on the other side alone where its quiet, she didnt even say ok sure, she insisted that the other people are going to leave. She wanted us to take our own waters. Didnt ask us what to drink I had to ask. She got my drink then almost left and I'm like what about my dad... rude. Didnt bring us our food it was the guy in the kitchen. We wanted to make sure the food wasnt spicey so we ask again she didnt even pay attention, another waiter answered, THEN she answered with an attitude and shakes her head. While were eating shes there talking with another waiter looking at us talking in Chinese. I stared back to let them know I see you and that's extremely rude. We ordered noodles and they came out hard and dry, and they said its crispy. I dont know, doubt it but oh well. Food is good. But these restaurants dont even hire authentic thai or japanese people. Its undocumented Chinese just looking for a job, that have no experience or idea whatsoever of customer service and that the customer is always right. So. If you don't care about that I recommend it ONLY for the food. IF THAT. But if you want a quality customer service experience, there are better places than this. Sad because the place is nice with soft music...
