It's a bit shocking giving them a 1 star but the quality of the food has gone down. Usually this happens to great restaurants throughout the years cause they get real busy, you expect a bit of a drop off... but they REALLY, drastically dropped off. Being Peruvian, this was my favorite Peruvian restaurant, not anymore.
Me and my gf were there today expecting great service and quality food but we were SHOCKED how much they declined in customer service and food quality. From the very moment we got there they messed up bringing out my drink. I ordered a Maracuya sour and they brought out a regular Maracuya drink. Then the salichipapa as appetizer was alright, but they only brought out ketchup and no aji, or mayo to go along with it (usually other Peruvian restaurants will bring out mayo and aji with salchipapa) they used to do that, not anymore. Then I think they forgot about our entrees cause some ppl that got there after us got their food before us. It took like 40 to 45 min for them to bring out our food. The waiter apologized, it wasn't his fault cause he was actually the only waiter working there. It was just a mess.
Anyways, the entrees were not good. I ordered a Lomo candela and that supposedly has shrimp in it and mines didn't come with shrimp, so they gave me a regular Lomo Saltado. I let it go, whatever, but then I go for a bite, the lomo absolutely had no flavor to it. My gf ordered he Tacu Tacu to be fried, they didnt fry it.
I really didn't want to go off like this considering this was my favorite Peruvian restaurant, but I want you guys to better yourselves and go back to the quality service and serving quality food like before.
Hope you guys don't take this review the wrong way and actually look at it as a way to better the quality like it was before.
I'm rooting for you guys to get back to that!!
Til then,...

Read moreI went to the restaurant on Tuesday with my husband on recommendation from my brother. We arrived and were told to sit anywhere. We were greeted and told about the soup of the day. Another waiter came to take our order. We ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees. I noticed as others were seated I noticed a variety of condiments were brought to their tables but none to ours. We ordered fried calamari but no dipping sauce was provided I had to ask the waiter. It then took about 20-25 minutes for our entrees to come while others that came in after us were served their food quite fast. When our entrees were bought to the table which was fried shrimp and fried fish. Again I had to ask for the dipping sauces and they bought one for the both of us. We ordered fried rice and it never came. They only came once to ask how everything was they didn't ask if we wanted more drinks but were constantly refilling peoples water glasses. We really felt as if we were being discriminated. We decided to just have our food packed and leave. They never asked if we wanted dessert or coffee. Our bill came out to $81.67 and gave the waiter a $100 he picked it up and said thank you just assuming that we were giving him the change as his tip. We stood up waiting for our change and finally he realized that we were waiting. He finally brought it over and we left a tip we thought suited the service we received. We will not return and we will not reccomend at all. Don't go here if your Black and Fat because you wont like how you will be served. Very...
