UPDATE: Knocking a few stars off. 2nd time visiting. I was less than satisfied with my food. Mediocre at best. Decided to have their Asada fries. The carne asada was ok. The pico alright. The fries not the best. They could've been fried a bit more. The cheese decent. I also go the Birria Torta. I would give it a 0. The bread was pale and overpowered the rest of the ingredients. Barely any meat on it. On top of that the birria lacked flavor. You look at the picture and tell me if that's worth $11. Ended up spending about $25 for the meal. NOT WORTH IT
It is pretty good spot if you're looking to get a semi-quick bite. They don't take to long to complete you're order and the food is price friendly. I got the wet steak burrito which comes with melted cheese & red sauce on top. The steak is on the fattier side so you do get some chewy bites. It is a filling meal so you're getting you're...
Read moreTo start off we ordered nachos,a torta and a burrito to try a little bit of everything. Everything was disappointing and cold although I picked up my order in 10 min. the salsa that came with the food was expired and smelled awful. The nachos were soggy and dry chicken. Burrito was not a burrito but a wrap with no flavor and cold with spoiled guac. The torta was basically a homemade hero with bland chicken... soggy lettuce and over mayo missing authentic basic toppings. Disappointed for this place to be called a taqueria when it doesn't have the basic toppings of actual Mexican food. I'm not sure if they tried to make this an authentic Mexican taco place or a tex mex. I was better off going to chipotle for Mexican if I new this wasn't authentic and for the flavor I was better off going to taco joes. Very...
Read moreMy wife and I recently got a mailer from this place and we figured we would give it a try since I'm very picky with my Mexican food. I cannot describe how amazing this food was. The guacamole was super fresh tasting and had the perfect amount of lime. My Burrito al pastor had a great balance of fillings. My wife's chicken Wet Burrito wasn't over smothered to the point it was soggy and the meat was cooked to perfection. The nachos had real melted cheese on top, not queso, and it still delivered well and wasn't a gelatinous mess like other places. As for the churros, I was surprised to see it didn't come with a dipping sauce. However, I was even more surprised when I bit into one and it was filled with custard.
I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. It's my new favorite...
