Stuey's Smokehouse BBQ — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

HOLY SMOKES! Finally we got some good food around these parts, and let me tell you the Good Lord has blessed this man with the ability to create the best BBQ I have had this side of the Mason Dixon line. The wood is good my friends. I am a brisket man myself, and man he does it right, tender, juicy, nice dry rub of pepper. It passed my test, which is - do you eat the mixed up bits with the juices that are left on the plate after the meal... with this stuff, HECK yeah you do. I will say the BBQ sauce, the beans, and even the slaw have a unique home made flavor to them. I have yet to try the other stuff, but I will. It's really nice to finally have a take out place near me that is truly something special, let alone my favorite genre of food. And it's oh so sweet. I'd go on but I just had a half rack of those tasty ribs and I need a nap. I'll be coming...

We visited the Glen Cove area for an event and found this gem of a place. I must note, there really isn't a place to sit except for a small counter with 3 or 4 seats, so it is mainly take out. But we happily ate in our car. The brisket here was amazing, so juicy and tender. The ribs were really good. They didn't fall off the bone, which is the way I like them since I like to gnaw on ribs but they weren't tough either. The sage sausage had great flavor but wasn't as smokey as what the husband was hoping for, which is fine by me. The jalapeño cornbread was so good, we went back to buy some more for home. We live 40 minutes away from the restaurant but we would definitely go back again just for the brisket and...

The food although being decent is absurdly overpriced and under portion the rack of ribs are closer to riblits - half size of what ribs should be, the brisket portion minuscule and they don’t give you enough bbq sauce for your order, no non sweat potato option... the only good thing that not a rip off was the cornbread loaf for 6 bucks this was amazing, I’d like to like this place but after spending 70 bucks for 2 people (that’s only getting 2 small sides smh) I was still very very hungry, I’m sorry but when are you supposed to be hungry after eating 35 bucks of bbq, smh I won’t be revisiting.. bbq joints are known for portions all over the country, this place is a rib off,...
