Woodbury Country Deli — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

Umm, simply put - it's probably the best deli in the immediate area, and if I may be so bold to say, it is my favorite deli on Long Island. They have done such a spectacular job with this place! The food is exceptional, the variety of what they offer is copious and they will practically make you whatever you ask for. I've made some pretty ridiculous sandwiches over the years, and they have made them, every time. Their regular sandwich list is great, their salad selections is also top-notch and they offer dinner tray's and hot 'to-go' meals. They have a huge staff and usually they have you in and out in under 10 minutes. The guys here are very attentive and very friendly - visit them often enough and you'll find yourself talking to the guys at the counter like old time friends. Their outdoor dining area is great too - they have a front porch area, a covered side area and a upper deck, back of the building, dining spot too. All in all, this place is GREAT! Highly recommended!

UPDATE: 3/9/22 - Due to rising costs associated with the countries ongoing inflation epidemic, expect to pay significantly higher than usual prices. This is a serious shame, as what used to cost between $5 and $7 dollars has now DOUBLED in price. I recognize that this is not the owners fault, this is just the sad truth...

I haven’t been here in a long time. Just went this morning and got three egg sandwiches for myself and the family they were absolutely delicious they have turkey bacon! This place defines old school deli egg sandwiches and breakfast. I also got a pistachio muffin amazing and a homemade piece of crumb cake…there is a whole area dedicated to cake, muffins danishes pound cakes etc better than a bakery not kidding. So delicious, the pistachio is natural tasting so fresh with pieces of pistachios in it..I’m loving it and the crumb cake addicting. I highly recommend coming here. This place gives mom and pop vibes. There’s a wide variety of coffees, teas, homemade soups salads and sandwiches for lunch. I was already thinking about my next meal lol who could ask for more? everyone is super nice and friendly feels like your aunt is cooking and baking in the back. We finished our sandwiches, but I’m going to leave pictures of the muffin and crumb cake We ate half :). Looking forward to coming...

New to the neighborhood was searching for a new local deli to frequent. Walked in there were a few people scattered in front of me. I checked that they were all taken care of, and then stepped to the counter to place my order. An elderly man with gray hair and blue eyes came to the counter, looking straight past me and said who’s next I said I haven’t ordered yet completely ignored me staring to the back Calling up 2 thin, attractive, blonde women - it was if I was invisible- I even waved to say hello Im standing here to which I was still ignored and another girl behind the counter called me down to her to place my order. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese is on a roll. There was no cheese. The sandwich was very sloppy. I’ll be going to gabby‘s in Woodbury...
