Organic Krush Kitchen & Eatery — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

Organic Krush Woodbury was initially recommended to my husband & I by our personal trainers at Equinox over 3 years ago when we were in search of a healthy restaurant to dine in or takeout food and we continue to be loyal patrons. Organic Krush has a wide selection of organic healthy & most delicious foods to satisfy everyone’s pallet & special dietary restrictions. We have a daughter with special needs who is lactose intolerant & we are thrilled that OK offers so many choices of delicious dairy free meals & desserts. She frequently orders coconut shrimp with quinoa & an apple cinnamon munchkin, donut or superseed muffin & devours it so rapidly! My husband & I love Austin chicken with sautéed spinach. My son’s favorite dish is the Roast. My 5 year old granddaughter frequently requests the chicken quesadilla on the kids menu. My daughter-in-law loves the Spicy Korean BBQ! The breakfast menu, daily specials & smoothies are awesome too. I ordered the macro bowl on Monday & it was scrumptious!!! The managers, Andy & Michelle and employees Melissa , Meredith & Alejandro are very professional, friendly, efficient & accommodating. When I recently came with my daughter to takeout shortly before closing, Alejandro brought our meals to our table since she wanted to dine in. I was most impressed that he took the initiative to ask me if we needed anything & even threw out our garbage after eating. He has a dynamic personality & is most knowledgeable about everything on the menu too! Anything on the menu can be substituted depending upon your preferences. Organic Krush is most inviting, beautifully decorated, extremely clean, face masks are worn & tables are spread apart to permit social distancing. There’s little wait time for dining in or taking out. My son & daughter-in law that live in CT would always request food from OK Woodbury whenever they visit us. I'm not one to do this especially because my husband owns a restaurant and think that that yelp reviews could be unfair. HOWEVER. I am in absolute rage over my experience from organic krush. I ordered online, and I'll show a picture of my receipt in this post with two things. A smooth and a rice bowl. Well the smoothie never and magically on their copy receipt there is no smoothie order at all. Nothing I can do about that, and frankly if that was the only problem I wouldn't waste my time on a Saturday night writing this. Moving on, on the item that I actually received from my order the rice bowl it wasn't bad, until I almost had a heart attack. What I found inside the bowl that I could have missed easily was nothing more then a huge bug that looked like it was not only cooked with the rice but burned to blend right in. I want to also mention I ordered this at 325 with a last call order of 330, I'm not saying that there was a bug in my food because of the time but idk is it possible that it was rushed because it was almost closing ? If Cold Spring Harbor is Elysium, Organic Krush is the machine that can reverse aging, cure cancer, and grant the eternal life that every person in the world wants but only the elite can have access to. SORRY POOR PEOPLE - YOU DON'T GET TO LIVE. JK but, 1 star off for price. 9 dollars is kind of insane for ancold press drink. HOWEVER, the FIGHTER makes me feel like I can run through multiple brick walls. Excellent cold press drinks. And listen, the cost of organic fruits and veggies is high. Not totally their fault. After working on an organic farm in Denmark I realize how watered down and fake American industrialized produce is, albeit shaped perfectly. They look good on the shelf, but the misshapen organic fruits taste best and this country will never allow that because people are mostly just idiots.
