Kai's Chinese Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Pawling

Don't waste your money. Might as well light your money on fire and eat the ashes, still would taste better. My wife just picked up a large order for our family. Inedible. Disgusting "soup" which was more like jelly than soup, not only was it EXTREMELY THICK, but tasted DISGUSTING! House Lo Mein tasted like bland overcooked noodles/pasta and straight OIL! Boneless spare ribs were lacking in flavor, texture and tasted like spongey ham. The only thing that was remotely edible was the sesame chicken....and even that was lack luster....

im from the boroughs where the chinese food is un-matched. However i was surprised to see how delicious the food was from here. absolutely shocked to find great chinese food in this area, and it's right near me, which is a plus. The only thing i didnt like was that the fried dumplings i ordered seemed like they were steamed first and then fried, or maybe not fried enough, they were pretty soggy like steamed dumplings should be, not like how fried dumplings should be. Texture problem, but taste was 10...

The worst Asian experience of my life. Ordered General Tso's Chicken - the only good thing about the, "Mock" chicken was the white rice that came with it. There was no chicken , it was batter formed like chicken balls covered with Tso's sauce - Simply awful. If they had no chicken they should have ssaid, "We are out of Tso's in which case I would have ordered something else....
