We had heard of this place through a few different people and finally decided to give it a try. It was one of the best decisions ever as far as trying a new place to eat. Rosies has absolutely amazing food anf we've never been disappointed in the quality of the food. I was so impressed with our meals that we order at least once or twice a month . The food is the closest thing to "home cooked" that I've ever had from an actual restaurant. The food is very reasonably priced and the portion sizes are just about perfect, not too big and not too small. They offer take out or you can dine there. The restaurant itself is a very cozy little place, with the feel of being in your homes dining room. The owner is always on site and the entire staff are polite and always have a smile when you walk in. Helpful hint may be to call ahead on a Friday or Saturday night as the dining room itself is fairly small and there is little room to stand and wait for a table. Whether you wait for table or order take out, you will not be disappointed in your meal at...
Read moreSo wanted to love this little italian restaurant but it was disappointing to say the least. We ordered garlic bread(served 8 very small thin slices) with cheese ($7.99) that was dried out having no garlic flavoring and the slightest skimpiest amount of cheese topping. Skip this and eat the free bread. Our entrees: chicken parm with traditional sauce and seafood diavalo. Diavalo had weak greasy sauce, white fish, 4 shrimp and imitation crab. Big chunks of the root(scrap) of the garlic were scattered in the sauced linguini and did not add any flavor to the entree which was quite bland. The chicken parm meat was tender and cooked throughout but also lacked the correct amount of cheese topping. Ceasar salad came with the meal but the dressing tasted exactly like the olive garden italian parm I can buy in the grocery store. We shared a half carafe of wine. During our meal there were a total of 3 tables being served out of the 12 tables in the dining room. Our server was friendly enough. Our total bill without...
Read moreThis review is basically a heads up to others who go there as a twosome and what they may run in to. We decided to go there on a Saturday night, which is probably a busy time for them and being our first time there didn't realize how small it was. When we got there we were looking around and didn't see any empty tables except for this table, that was no more than 3'x3' placed pretty much in the entrance to the dining room. Well unfortunately that's all they had for us, so they said, even though another couple was leaving at a bigger table in the corner. When we asked why can't we get that table we were told this is the only table we have for you. Well hearing this and feeling a little disrespected we left and got the feeling they could have cared less. So couples beware unless you don't care if you sit at a table that you probably couldn't get 2 plates of food and drinks on. Needless to say we will never go there again which is to bad since we had heard alot of good things...
