Update: the Gyros were amazing!! The housemade pita bread is some of the best ever and the gyro meat is deliciously flavored and juicy. We will be back soon! Also important to note, the restaurant is immaculate. Super clean, bright, and cute. Great place for a relaxing delicious meal if you have time to sit down. And very affordable to boot. 100% you gotta give them a try!
This was our first visit to Dalia's and it will not be our last. Everything was so super fresh and tasty. We tried the combo plate appetizer (hummus, tabbouleh, falafel, baba ghanoush, and stuffed grape leaves). Each was excellent and the hummus was extra good. We're not big on falafel but wanted to try it and though it's still not our favorite thing, they were pretty good. We also tried the Ganbari pizza which was great but could have used a crispier crust. We will order a pizza well done next time. We ordered Gyros to have on hand for lunch the next day and are looking forward to trying them tomorrow. Definitely a must try if you like really fresh and flavorful Mediterranean...
Read moreI ordered 2 kids meals, the Greek gyro kabob for my husband and the Greek chicken kabob for me minus lettuce tomatoes and tzatziki on the side. Picked up our take out and in the car gave everyone their meals. They gave me the beef and lamb as well. When my husband went in to let them know they said that I misspoke on the phone and ordered the wrong thing. I don’t like lamb and beef gyros and they said that they could make me a chicken one but that we would have to pay for it. The young lady working the counter was very rude to my husband. By this time I am upset and said just let’s go and he asked for the side of tzatziki that they had not given to me and they wanted to charge him .75$ extra for it when I had asked for it on the side already . I went in and showed them on the receipt where it said tzatziki on the side and that it shows right on the receipt and that I shouldn’t be charged for it. She started to give me a hard time even though the receipt said side. Was very disappointed in the customer service. We...
Read moreI don't think any of the reviewers have had real Lebanese food. While the ingredients are fresh, the menu is off. For example, rosemary in chicken shawarma? Unheard of. And the rice was definitely Uncle Ben's. It was parboiled with bits of carrots and peas...it had absolutely zero Middle Eastern taste. It's not that I'm a food snob. There's good and bad Lebanese. This just wasn't Lebanese, to put it simply. It's like subbing soy sauce for ketchup in Chinese food. It's no longer Chinese, right?
I also ordered the fresh juice. I was brought a very lumpy, pale green mess that was not sweet but tasted like something your child would create in the blender. Fruit juice should have one overriding flavor. It should be pureed enough to suck through a straw.
The waitress was sweet but clearly inexperienced. She kept asking me how I wanted her to clear the table. Too much obsequiousness. Have a method of clearing tables (keep the fork, or bring a new one for the next course), and...
