64 On The Rocks — Restaurant in Town of Pomfret

We were very satisfied with our entire experience at 64 on The Rocks! We found it just looking for a place to stop for a late lunch.

The atmosphere was very welcoming. Staff greeted us as soon as we were approaching the entry way with a polite courteous and welcoming demeaner. The bar area is very well lit and has good design and décor characteristics as well as several well placed large screen TV's. There is plenty of seating as well as plenty of room to move around.

Let's discus what we ended up there for THE BURGERS! and other Eats.

The wait time was very minimal as they were not extremely busy during our visit. We ordered a sharable basket of Beer Battered Onion Rings for a starter. They have a zesty sauce they serve with them that was pretty good. The Onion Rings were amazing. They were cooked just right not to soggy and not burnt to a crisp.

The Rock's Burger A not so basic approach to a classic burger with all the fixins one could ask for along with a very generous amount of fries. What more could one ask for. The plate presentation was interesting and well thought of. The burger was perfectly seared and cooked to a perfect medium. Toppings included lettuce tomato onion bacon and was served with condiments on the side. We thought the Branding on the bun was a nifty idea as well!

For a beverage I had the Ellicottville Brewing Blueberry Wheat which was enjoyable and flavorful with a mild hint of blueberry and although it has been being brewed for over 10 years that was the first time I had heard of it.

Overall if we are ever looking for a Burger in Fredonia NY again, we will definitely stop at 64 On The Rocks! And rumor has it, they have live bands on...

Went today for lunch with my husband and our infant daughter. Asked for a high chair and were told they do not have any (totally fine understand they are a sports bar!) sat down and were given a menu but no drink menu. After 30 mins of waiting we left. A number of times all the wait staff was at the bar just talking and looking around but never came over. Within that 30 minutes no one even came and asked for a drink order which if they were busy I would totally understand but they were pretty slow. At least 2 party’s came in after us and were immediately asked their drink orders and taken care of by wait staff .A waitress came to the table next to us 3 times asking how their food was and such and would just look over at us and just walk away. Our daughter was quite no screaming or crying but from how it seemed they were almost purposely not taking care of us due to having a child. Staff walked by and looked at us several times and several different staff members and never said anything. They made the whole experience very uncomfortable. I am not one to ever complain and always wanting to give a local business support and even another chance but In this case with how it seemed they were purposely doing it because we had a child we will never be back. I do not recommend anyone with kids to go here. Fredonia is a family friendly town so establishments should be ready for...

I really wish I could give a better review as I don't know that I've ever given 1 star... The atmosphere was beautiful on the lake but the positivity ends there. I am probably the most non-confrontational person there is, but after waiting 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches (in a not busy bar) I had to ask the status. They miraculously produced it in a few minutes. Unfortunately they made my order wrong (due to a medical condition we'd ask certain things be taken off my wrap). After sending it back (to her credit, the girl was very nice) and waiting another 20 minutes I went up to ask, if it had been made to please put in a to-go box or if not, to please remove it from my tab so we could leave as we had another engagement. The man who assisted me was very rude. He basically tried to insinuate that I was trying to leave without paying my tab. I clarified again, no, if the food was made (properly) then of course we intended to pay but if it hasn't been made yet we'd like to remove it from our tab as the first round was not correct and we had another place to be. Again, miraculously the food was ready (mind you, we'd been sitting waiting for our buzzer to go off for 20 minutes in a not busy bar).
