I called 2 weeks prior to our visit and made a reservation for our group of 34 and asked if they thought they could put a large group through for lunch in 1.5 hours or less as we were on a deadline. I was assured that this would be no problem. I told them I would call back with exact numbers several days before our visit which would be lunch time on a Sunday. I called back as promised on the Thursday prior and was assured all was good and that they would be ready. I received a call from them on the Friday as they wanted to confirm my numbers.... I told them I had called the day before (perhaps my first indication of an issue?). We arrive right on time for our noon reservation and a waitress directed us to the banquet section. Looks good, clean and set up for us. The issue was that there was only 1 waitress and she indicated that the cooks were short staffed. The waitress did her best She took food orders for 1 table of 16 and then disappeared for 20 min coming back to deliver the salads. Took 2 more tables orders (2 tables of 8) and disappeared again leaving a table without their order having been taken. 20 min later, she arrived back with the salads for the next 2 tables, then gone again. 20 minutes later, the first tables food started to come out and continues to come out for the next 30 minutes. Still no order taken for the last table and no drink orders taken. Finally at 1.5 hours, we had to leave. First table done (thank goodness as it was the kids), second set of tables, still no food. Last table, still no order taken. People told her to cancel their orders. Had to go. We were not charged, but 20 of the 36 people were hungry... I expected that with the advance notice, there would be enough staff to complete the order and deliver of our food in a timely manner... Waitress was so upset, and I don't blame her. She was left high and dry. I asked who I should call and was told Lisa... Why was Lisa not there if they were so short staffed? Worst group experience EVER. Not sure how they function as a...
Read moreFirst time here, ordered take out. The inside is very nicely decorated and welcoming to eat inside. I go to the counter and let the lady (with the black hair) know that I am here for my pickup order and give her my name. She goes about her business with running dough through the machine and cashing out two other people. After standing there for about 20 minutes I asked her if my order was ready. She picks up the phone and calls in the back and says to the people that work back there with an attitude, "Where's the order for __?" I'm thinking how would the people in the back know I was standing out there if she did not call them to let them know in the first place. 🤦 A nice young gentleman immediately comes out with my order. When I got home. The food was just as disappointing as the service from the lady at the counter. Huge chunks of sausage on the pizza which we ended up tossing out. My 17-year-old said her dinner was "Meh". And my other 17-year-olds chicken alfredo had a black hair in it so we tossed that too. Which by the way, while I was standing at the counter waiting for my food. The lady with the black hair handling the money at the register would turn around and stick her hand in the bin of shredded mozzarella cheese that the pizza guy was using and play with it, which is beyond my comprehension. No gloves on, nothing after handling money. That should have been my first sign! Maybe they need a visit from the health department....
Read moreI travel within my medical career, and for my colleagues on the road stay away from here. I arrived at Sergis and o ardered a chicken parm dinner with wings as an appetizer. It was a lot for one person but I wanted leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The staff was very friendly when I ordered and was told it would take 20 minutes to complete the order. I ran a few errands and looked at my watch and realized i had left over 30 minutes ago. I expected to walk in and pay and leave. My meal was not ready for an additional 15 minutes. One of the wait staff stated that the cook (Angelo????) was not qualified and should have not been in the kitchen. After waiting I asked for cups for my drinks and was informed the that they don't have those. That added to the misery, but wait it got worse. I left and took back to my hotel room to eat and answer emails and do some computer work. The wings were AWFUL. They were cold and smelled funny. I tried a second one to make sure it wasn't me and then I threw them out. The chicken parm was a cheap piece of meat that had been frozen.
