Pert House — Hotel in Town of Potsdam

We loved the attention to detail and the mix of old and new decor. The beds were comfortable and far superior to Westin's Heavenly Bed. So many hotels forget the importance of investing in a quality mattress. ||Each room in the hotel has a unique design and layout. Ours had a king-size bed with a large front-facing window across from the historic Post Office building. The bathroom was beautifully tiled with quality fittings and a rain shower. ||The pictures on the website do not justify how good this place is. It is super clean and feels newly decorated. ||Breakfast included a variety of cereals, coffees, teas and breads. Pert House is idyllic. Perfectly appointed and located walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants in town, my stay couldn’t have been better. The room was clean, charming and smelled beautifully upon entering, the bed was comfortable and linens lovely, the amenities are just right…even the light food and beverage options were great. It is a quiet and small hotel with a historic vibe. The property is remotely managed, (i.e. a worker comes clean and brings necessary groceries, and drip coffee is made automatically at 07:00 am).
