Okay so hands down these guys get a 5 star for me 100%. My husband and I have been here several times. Over this month. My first time going there we just did a walk in while the service was spot on and they greeted assistantly I have to say that the cooking takes a little bit of time so if you wanted a melt sandwich I would highly recommend going and calling them before you come. Because it does take them a little bit of time to prepare the food but it is worth the wait. The only other thing I would like to see more of is using a rubber gloves in the kitchen when for puering mealsmy last visit the chef put a little bit of the Philly cheesesteak meat on top of the bun and I noticed that she did not have a pair of gloves on. But other than that I've had numerous Philly chees es esteaks what I can recommend is putting provolone instead of their Cooper American. I don't find the Cooper American as flavorful as the provolone. But man what a melt that sandwich is awesome. If you guys are visiting Red Hook I highly recommend checking out Catalina's deli. I've had their macaroni salad their potato salad and I did try the Tarrmisu. The dessert was okay it's not the best but it will do. But I highly recommend their sandwiches especially their Philly which is a melted sandwich they have a salad bar that they will prepare salads for you. Hi basically refer this as an old world Italian deli. Yum on every level.
Remember have fun with what you're doing and keep it real because you know I do with each and every review.
As always thank...
Read moreI had the signature Catarina sandwich for lunch today and it was absolutely phenomenal. The bread was great and the flavors were perfectly on point. It was chopped up wonderfully and made every bite just as good as the last.
Unfortunately, the only negative for me was a BIG one. This chopped sandwich had such little meat. I eat a ton of sandwiches at a ton of delis around the Hudson Valley and this is by far the least meat I’ve gotten. For ~$13 I definitely expect more than...
Read moreAsked Catalina’s to make an Italian Chopped Salad for Easter and again for a family picnic over the past weekend. Both were excellent, beautifully presented, and delicious. The salads contained plenty of meats, cheeses, olives, mushrooms, and more. My husband, son, and I have also stopped there for take out and to eat at Catalina’s. Over the course of several months, we’ve tried several different sandwiches and every one was delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful....
