The best bagels, lunch and people. Food is always super fresh and service is always with a smile. Every time I go there, there are 10+ people ahead of me in line, but the line moves very quickly because the staff knows what they’re doing and they wait on more than one customer at a time - unlike most places. Egg sandwiches are delicious and all of the rolls I am told are home baked. There is always something new on the menu, though I like to stick with the chicken salad, tuna salad, white fish salad and every so often, vegetable cream cheese on an egg bagel (trying to eat healthy). We live about 20 minutes away, but it’s worth the trip every time. I’m not somebody who typically comments on food places because I always find something wrong, but this place is as near perfect as I’ve ever personally experienced — — food delicious and fresh every time — and the sandwiches are...
Read moreThis is by far the best bagel place in Suffolk county! North fork or the south fork, Doesn't matter! They're the best, hands down. Everything is always delicious, softest bagels even after they cooled down. Overnight oats are the best! Fresh squeezed Oj is the best! My family all loves this place! Employees are also very nice and friendly! It's a happy atmosphere!
My only complaint is that they run out of stuff to much! I've tried ordering sandwiches and they're out of all the rolls on 4 seperate occasions. Gone in the morning and they're out of certain bagels and a line out the door and people saying they came to order that same bagel and they're not making more. Can't you make another small batch? Just sucks when you drive over for something you love only to find out it is out again. Everything can't be perfect I suppose lol but they're food is the closest...
Read moreWe ordered a bunch of different breakfast sandwiches for delivery from Black Sheep just to try something new and we were very happy with all of them, SEC, BEC, some on bagels and some on rolls, all were terrific. Sure the costs are inline with most places in the Hamptons during summer but I would say that they are the norm now anywhere on long island. There are no cheap AND good places to eat anywhere here in NY anymore. I personally can't wait to go and eat there in person and to try something different. One last thing, kudos to the owner that is doing the right thing by responding to customer complaints. It's hard enough to run a business these days, with costs across the board out of their control, but to take the time to respond to most of the bad reviews, to me it shows...
