the food is excellent; plentiful and plated nicely. great selection. I had the branzino which was a special, friends had amazing 2 pork chops one serving ; veal dishes. all excellent. delicious bread and cheese/pepperoni/ olives as a courtesy app. generous glass of white wine very reasonably priced. all excellent. free valet parking.

we went on a Saturday night. in my 50 plus years of eating out - the noises restaurant I have ever been too.the four of us had to basically read lips. it's a younger crowd and I suppose some from that generation is totally out of touch w their surroundings and the impact they have others. we would have normally just left b4 being served but the food looked amazing so we stayed. jam-packed w people who just shouted and screamed - very uncivil. however, I'm sure it's the vibe the owner wants. so, we will go back on a week day and eat outside if weather permitting.

the service was professional but it took more than an hour to get out main course. and, one thing that bothers me, the long list of specials did not have any prices posted. the owner realizes that most people either don't care what the price is or they are embarrassed to ask. most of the specials were more expensive than most menu items - but not outrageously priced and my fish was delicious. another nice touch - courtesy biscotti w confectioner sugar served at the end of the meal.

the restaurant was simply overwhelmed because it was more than jam-packed and the service just could not keep up. they did their best. there were no covid precautions - the staff did not wear masks. there was hand sanitizer at the entrance. given the doom of the delta variant and the how jam-packed the restaurant was....I personally would not go back for a while - maybe I'm just the cautious type given my age - 75 - and health condition.

I highly recommend the restaurant if the issues I brought up don't bother you. we will be back but not in the very near future - waiting for covid to get get to more acceptable levels; I found the crowded space a bit intimidating.

a great addition to the area. three restaurants have failed in that space and hopefully this one will be there for a...

Sergio Sawpit is an exceptional dining experience that far exceeds the standard 5-star rating. From the moment you walk in, the fresh bread station sets the tone, making you feel as though you've stepped into a luxury hotel restaurant. The food is consistently delicious, with highlights like Arthur Avenue-style bread and the exquisite truffle ravioli among my favorites.

The classic Sergio seafood tower is a must-try, offering a sumptuous selection that truly impresses. The ambiance is outstanding, making for a wonderful evening with incredible background music. The soft shell crab was particularly memorable, both delicious and perfectly prepared. To top it off, the tartufo dessert was a delightful end to the meal.

Our evening concluded with a complimentary cordial, graciously offered by Sergio himself, who embodies hospitality and attentiveness. The restaurant boasts impeccably clean restrooms, with two facilities each for gentlemen and ladies, and a large, well-equipped bar perfect for watching a game or enjoying a drink. The establishment's decor, featuring abundant flowers covering the ceiling and walls, creates a picturesque setting ideal for date nights or private events.

Front seating is beautifully decorated, enhancing the overall experience. Sergio Sawpit stands out as the best restaurant in the Port Chester area, especially when seeking recommendations on Google. The bar offers a great selection with generous pours, a welcome contrast to other places in town.

In summary, Sergio Sawpit delivers an unparalleled dining experience that combines exquisite food, a captivating ambiance, and top-notch service. Highly recommended for...

Went on a Thursday night - group of 4 people. We were seating near the bar area at a table. Immediately upon being seated we were asked if we wanted drinks - we said can we would need a minute and could we get some water. 2 minutes later before the water arrived we were asked by another server if we wanted drinks - we asked for a drink menu and were told they don't have drink menus but they can make anything. We said ok give us a minute to decide. A 3rd server came and we ordered 2 moscow mules and 2 mixed drinks - server leaves and comes back and says they can't make moscow mules. We order different drinks which arrive in a few minutes. We receive menus and then 30 minutes goes by with no waiters coming to take our order. I get out of my seat and find a waiter who finally takes our order. In the meantime the bar area is getting louder and more crowded. The bar patrons are now overtaking the seating and at one point I had 2 bar patrons literally pressed up against me as I was eating. It was so loud we could not even hear the person next to us speak. I would have complained to a manager about the seating but we were being ignored by the staff. You can't seat people in the bar area if the bar is that popular. The food was very good but the service and the atmosphere were terrible. I called the restaurant the next day to speak to a manager and I was never called back. I sent 2 emails and did not...

I recently had the opportunity to visit Sergio’s Saw Pit for lunch, and unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to expectations. While I was invited to join friends for a meal, the visit left much to be desired. First, let’s talk about the food. I was really looking forward to trying their offerings, but my excitement quickly turned to disappointment when I discovered that the butter served with my meal was frozen solid. This made it nearly impossible to spread on my bread, undermining what should have been a simple pleasure. Additionally, the soup we ordered featured broccoli rabe, but sadly, it just didn’t hit the mark for me. It lacked flavor and warmth, leaving me feeling unsatisfied. I believe every restaurant has its off days, but the quality of food should be consistently good, especially given the positive reviews I had heard before my visit. Another element that impacted the experience was the staff. While I understand that busy lunch hours can be stressful, I found some of the team members to be a little rude. Their demeanor made me feel unwelcome, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the meal. Overall, my lunch at Sergio’s Saw Pit was underwhelming. With poor food presentation, subpar offerings, and a less-than-friendly staff, I doubt I’ll be returning. While I appreciate the invitation from my friends, I’d suggest looking for alternate dining options in the future.

We recently had the absolute pleasure of celebrating a bridal shower at Sergio's Saw Pit and we couldn't be happier with the experience! From start to finish, everything was simply perfect, making it a truly memorable day for the bride-to-be and all our guests. The venue itself is charming and beautifully decorated, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere that was ideal for our celebration. The staff at Sergio's were incredibly attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. As soon as a drink was low they asked if you wanted another. They were so accommodating with our requests and made the planning process seamless and stress-free. The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was prepared to perfection, and there was a wonderful variety that pleased everyone's palate. We loved the calamari, fresh pasta and entrees. Our guests raved about the food! If you're looking for a fantastic venue for a special event, especially a shower, highly recommend Sergio's Saw Pit. Their impeccable service, delightful ambiance, and outstanding food truly made the shower a lovely and unforgettable occasion. Thank you, Sergio's Saw Pit, for a truly wonderful day!

Overall my experience was quite mediocre compared to my expectations. For an appetizer I ordered the fried zucchini flower stuffed with ricotta. It was much more heavily breaded than what I had in Rome, where I remember it being very lightly fried and a little crisp. The tomato puree on the plate was good, but it also made me think I'd basically ordered a high class mozzarella stick. For my main course I ordered the risotto with spinach and lobster. The risotto clearly wasn't made to order. It was very chewy, seemingly precooked and then reheated and left under a warner for a time. The lobster was a little spongy, almost like it had been fried instead of baked or boiled. Definitely wouldn't order it again. I didn't finish it and didn't want to bring the leftovers home, which is rare for me. I LOVE leftovers. My wife enjoyed her veal ossobuco, but her side of risotto had the same problem as mine. My Napoleon for dessert was very good, and definitely the highlight of my meal. Overall I'm not sure I'd go back. For these prices, I expect far better than "meh".
