It is a beautiful park, with 3 dog run areas separated by fences- large dog area where āall friendly dogs are welcomeā, small dog area up to 30lbs and smaller ātime outā area presumably for dogs that need to be alone or with fewer dogs. There were large dogs in the small dog area, but one of the owners was kind enough to ask me if my little dog wanted to come in. She explained that she prefers the smaller park because itās easier to see when the dogs poop. I did step in dog poo earlier so not everyone is as responsible.
There are two nice playgrounds right outside the dog park, one for younger and another for older kids. There is also a covered picnic area with tables. Benches all over for seating. However a man was smoking a cigar in the picnic area, smelling up both playgrounds with the smoke. I politely asked if he wouldnāt mind putting it out and he responded he was in the fresh air and that he was a resident and asked am I even a resident. He then said the dog park is permit only and I should āread the signs.ā I went and read all the signs and returned back to tell him the dog park is public and there is a no smoking sign at the park entrance.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreA great, newly constructed dog park. Has TONS of space for your pups to run around in featuring hills, along with rocky outcrops too & that includes the smaller dog enclosure also. Love that there are ample spots of grass in the enclosure in addition to the mulch areas. It's kept clean, well maintained & due to the large play space, crowding isn't an issue, while also the crowd of dogs there are generally great playmates for all attendees. Wonderful park- probably best...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love taking my dog there; sheās had good experiences & thereās ample space and a section for both little dogs and big dogs in addition to a ātime out,ā area. Thereās plenty of waste bags in sight for individuals to use for their dogs. I still wish there was some kind of surveillance to hold individuals accountable for leaving their dogs waste behind, so always be weary of...
