After being a customer for almost a year, I have finally decided itās time to part ways with color by Connie. Almost every time I book appointments, I am told I have to wait āa few minutesā which then turns into 20-30 minute wait times. I went for a manicure Saturday (uv gel) and asked to apply the card or whatever the amount of its value to my service and I was told no āafter your 9th manicure get the 10th freeā to my service which I was told had to be a pedicure, which I didnāt originally agree with, since no where on the card does is specify the terms. I asked if it could be a gel pedicure, as that is the only pedicure I ever do there. Connie 3 times told me yes. I then booked a service for the following day. When I came back, I again confirmed it would be covered and again was told it would be. After sitting in the chair, having my polish taken off, and asked what I was having done, the woman doing my toes said it wasnāt covered. 2 more techs then told me no it only covered $28 pedicures and I would have to pay the difference (which I thought was odd because I wasnāt allowed to apply the card towards my balance the first day). Then they told me āwell then call Connieā. Connie came back in and told me no? Long story short, they honored the free gel pedicure āmiscommunicationā she said happened but it was the FASTEST PEDICURE, the woman barely scrubbed or touched my feet to the point I need to go somewhere else now, and I was made to feel so uncomfortable and unwelcomed after that. I spend at least $100-$120 each time I come in per service and wasnāt expecting to be treated like that, nor was I trying to take advantage of their systems. The card that offers the 10th manicure free needs to be updated because I am sure I cannot be the only customer that has felt bamboozled in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām so disappointed with my appointment today. From the second my service started I should have known it was going to go downhill. The nail tech (He didnāt tell me his name) cut my nails unevenly and began filing very quickly. He started to apply the first coat of polish but I asked him ābefore you start painting, could you please finish filing?ā. He told me he would file after the polish was applied. š Ok, youāre the professional, not me. The polish application was terrible as he continued to get polish on my skin along with missing sections of my nails. I thought he would remove the excess polish at least at the end of the service. No attention to detail and when he said āYouāre all setā I was shocked. He never went back and filed and never removed the excess polish. I told him āThis is the worst manicure Iāve ever receivedā and he replied āhave a nice dayā. My nails feel so sharp and jagged and look terrible. Fortunately I had this experience before I scheduled my baby shower nail appointment that is in 3 weeks. Iāve given this place one too many chances as they always move quickly but there is at least some care in the quality. There was also no reason to rush as I made a 10 an appt which is when they opened. I paid and left and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve gone to the salon for years, But my last visit was my last. Iāve gotten powder gel for about six months now and the only person that does it correctly is Joanna. I booked an appointment with Joanna but then they changed it to Jenny or Jackie or something, which they always go wrong. She did gel on my nails and refused to do powder. She was not listening to me and continued to do my nails incorrectly, when I called over Connie she played stupid and acted like she didnāt know what was happening. It took two people to do my nails because she started refusing to finish. It also took a four person intervention to figure out how to do powder gel. Never...
